Kind of curious....

Did anyone 'splain to Lionel that putting small flanges on a tinplate toy does
not make a scale model? Their so-called scale product will not operate on DC
or DCC, it requires a Lionel proprietory command control system or AC. The
swinging pilot is not even close to authentic.

Not being critical of Lionel here, but has anyone (of us) tried to explain to
them that what they are doing has little or no interest for the scale modleler?
The fault is ours if we do not attempt to educate them on what we want.

Sitting back and throwing darts is not the way to go. Refusing to communicate
with them about our wants and needs is nutz.

Cheers...Ed L.
