I stand corrected. Those words were not there the last time I looked at the Lionel web site. Thanks for the information. However, the loco does not operate on DC which is what most of the scale folks use. The point being that Lionel has not yet seriously offered a genuine scale model to the scale community. Yet they are speaking as if scale sales are "slow". This is most unfortunate and illustrates an ignorance of scale modeling on the part of Lionel.
