One loco from one manufacturer is a very small sample of the overall S scale
market. Not one engine sold by American Models or River Raisin Models or
SouthWind Models or Smokey Mountain was offered with a decoder installed.
While the customer can install a DCC decoder (and many do), I'd bet that most
of them (over 50%) are still running on DC. Just an opinion, of course. Ed L.
