Hi all:
Well, living in Norway certainly puts a crimp in buying American made appliances. We are quite satisfied with a range of 'foreign made' products (not that we have much choice - although there are some American named stuff, they are probably made elsewhere. Of course, except for England, there aren't too many places that have s-gauge products - so we buy American (but manufactured in China, etc.).

    John...The solution is to buy things made in Germany, Switzerland,
    Austria and a few other places.  Pay the price and get quality
    that lasts for 20 years.  Cheaper in the long run.  Ed L.
