I'm waiting for word from Ron B. about 3 sets of 36" wheels for the 85'
passenger cars.  The hi-rail ones have to be changed out for scale ones, but
the scale ones he sent have ball-ends, and are too long.  The hi-rail axles
have pointed ends.

I have also heard that NWSL is out of stock on the rods to make these, but need
to confirm/deny that shortly.

What concerns me is all the various wheel sizes that we've accumulated in S
scale over the years. I know there has to be a "standard," but many of us old
timers have a variety of track rail sizes and when I have a car that won't
behave itself after I've checked it out, I switch to American Model trucks and
wheel sets and have no more problems.

Perhaps that is why AM wheel sets are scarce?

Not many of us s Scalers out there are running on all new track!
