Hi all --

You know that back in the days of steam, not all drivers on a given loco had 
the same width.   Blind driver treads were usually wider than their flanged 
counterparts, even when you take the width of the flange into account.

That's because the protoype is the prototype and modeling is subject to 
interpretation and never the trains shall meet.
