I did one day at St. Louis in 2009, a three hour drive each way. Even though I 
would rather have had more time, I did get to meet quite a few friends I have 
made over the years and am happy for what I got.

I did the same thing for the "S" Fest in St. Louis in 2011, and again, while 
the time was short, I'm glad I went. I recommend one day to anyone who is not 
in a position to spend more time at a multi-day meet.

Unfortunately, I was unable to make the 2012 "S" Spree, which probably raised 
some whoops of delight among some who did.
