Yes, for a VERY short time. But if you tax that motor in such a way for very long the motor will burn out. That's especially true for the pre-1990 locos. Let's hope any wallpaper you wish to remove by such method is already peeling away of itself. Personally, I'd rather the thing could just pull a few cars safely for more than 15 minutes. Chuck F.
