- Are there specific Sage products that should be highlighted in an
Open Source for Education campaign? If so, which ones and why?

This seems like a tricky one - the key question I think is what is the
audience of this marketing effort? Does it include K-12, or primarily
undergraduate education, or what? Without knowing that it is
impossible to decide what to highlight.

One thing that I think is worth highlighting in a variety of contexts
is the wiki pages of interacts. While these are still quite sparse
compared to the Wolfram demonstrations project, there are a lot of
good examples. Its also something that isn't easy to find (its
possible that the new website makes this easier in a way I haven't
noticed though).

Maybe another thing to highlight is the growing number of Sage-based
textbooks, although this is an area that will be a lot more robust in
a year or so. I am helping David Joyner revise his sage-based
differential equations book, which should be in pretty good shape by
the end of the calendar year. Rob Beezer has his linear algebra book,
which is not currently sage-based but might become more so in the
future. Micheal Corral has indicated interest in changing his
excellent calculus 3 book into a sage-based one (currently the
computational examples are in java). You (William Stein) have your
elementary number theory and modular forms books.
