Thanks; I really like that article. (for those that haven't read it, it's on the importance of validation in volunteer communities, and the need for praising each other's work.) I have to say that this is one of the great things about William that sets the tone for the entire project. It seems that William has often commented in public on what a "totally frickin' awesome" job someone did on a specific thing. Even though some of things I've done that elicited the validation are just mundane, straightforward, or just down-in-the-trenches dirty work that needed to get done, I appreciated the positive feedback. Several times, I've redoubled my efforts to recognize and give that kind of positive feedback to others in the project because I saw William's example. It's one of the great things about this community. There are lots of people, not just William, giving this kind of positive validation too. What a great job, people!
