When we tried to update the last time we found a bug (or change of behaviour) 
in the most recent Singular release:

 cf. http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8059

It is likely that upstream fixed it by now, I didn't check.

I'll try to look into this some time soon. If someone beats me to it, I'd be 
glad though.
