For the record, I would be interested to hear about stuff that the Sage developers would like to see in Maxima. No guarantees that it would be implemented, as I'm sure you understand. Can't speak for anyone else, but I have a personal interest in interoperability between Maxima and other software, so I'd be interested to know what kinds of problems other developers have run into. There are at least two venues for such discussions, the Maxima mailing list, which is more widely read but any proposals are not easy to find after the fact, and the feature request tracker at Sourceforge.
