Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) has write-access to NTFS partitions using
NTFS-3G (http://www.ntfs-3g.org/ ). The driver is stable now and
write-access is enabled by default. I've used it to write to a Windows
2000 NTFS partition and everything worked fine.

Thanks,

Jason
