In the past I have handled this by configuring my loadbalancer with additional port mappings to each individual web server. For example: http://www.yoursite.com:80 -> (all servers) http://www.yoursite.com:8010 -> (server #1) http://www.yoursite.com:8020 -> (server #2) http://www.yoursite.com:8030 -> (server #3)
Then point SA to the actual site and then to each one of the sub-sites as well. This will tell you when an individual server is down as well as keeping tabs on your Load balanced site. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Navarrete, Jose" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 1:04 PM Subject: RE: [SA-list] Monitoring NT service: w3svc > I was advice on the list to check primarily the web page then the w3svc.
