Most of the time it's also possible to exclude specific useragents...and in
SA it's possible to define the useragent (via the registry - check the doc
for it)

Forgot to mention that we have AWstats set up to disregard all hits
against status.asp, and all hits on any page from internal IP's and our
external monitoring boxes.  That way, our stats aren't skewed by
developers working on the site internally, network admins checking
around, that sort of thing.
