To use Xp, I would have to learn and conquer the XP maze, while with 2000 it is similar to NT4.
In these fast and busy world, i would stick with something that i am familear with, and would serve the purpose of webhosting, than buy a XP, where i have to re-learn again. If you are using it only for running sambar, then no point in buying something expensive, re-learn xp....etc etc. w2k (2000) is just as userfreindly, but more stable. But if you would like to compare between windows and Linux. I would take time to learn Linux as soon as a Sambar linux port is released.
