I have an excellent Idea instead.

Get a free IPV6 address to your dynamic Ip address and then you can run your
DNS servers and your own Reverse Ip pointers. (you need IPV6 Dns servers
though)

try one and experiment.

ip and have authority over both my domain and my SimpleDNS server. I have
named another DNS server at a location some 300 miles distant from me as a
secondary DNS server in my domain management at Network Solutions. Do a
whois for chicopee.com and you'll see that I did it correctly.

using a dynamic IP. As such he is trying to use NO-IP.COM for his dns
services and appearently NO-IP.COM is not willing to supply a reverse ptr
for him. That's where UntraDNS.COM differs. They will provide a dns for your
dynamic IP, give you a reverse ptr, and even provide backup email services
among other things. In addition, UltraDNS is the registrar for the .ORG
domain names and so they have an excellent reputation as well as some clout
as far as their DNS servers are concerned.
