I forget exactly how paypal processing works, but I'm assuming you're
developing on your local machine?

Satchmo may not register the purchase until it receives the callback from
Paypal, which you wouldn't get if you were on localhost.

Check your order status' for the ones placed through Paypal and compare them
against the dummy module.
