Hm, that's a fair point.
Given that we're currently supporting that (well, apart from _em_, but that
doesn't seem to be too difficult), we should just let this syntax be valid
markup.
But to serve the principle of least surprise, we could additionally allow
'''strong''' and ''em'' markup for those wikipedians out there.
I think this solution is my personal favourite.
