Just a detail: remaining = -1 means infinity, so it's OK to have that at
the beginning of a track (what I meant by "just before the beginning" is
that no sample has been output but the track is ready). Settings remaining
to -1 when there is no ready track would be inconsistent, there is really
0 ready frames in the next (inexistent) track.
Now for important stuff: we need to organize a savonet meeting to test
your new eeePC when it gets delivered :)
