I was reading the quick start where i believe they used input.playlist 
http://savonet.sourceforge.net/doc-svn/quick_start.html

Maybe I misunderstood the manuals as I read it as input.playlist just as you 
would do output.icecast not

input - playlist("path/to/playlist/directory") then all  the options should you 
need them.

My next step is to have it stop when I connect to that same mount point, that 
beeing /stream, from my computer every once in a while, and then rezoom  when I 
either disconnect my computer, or my internet goes out. Lol! 

All of this reminds me actually of a bit of purl script I had to do and 
lillypond, which is a music writing code.
