OK, seems I didn't get one lick of the replies between my initial post for
help and this one, and obviously there's been some conversation exchanged.

I also see that my reply isn't destined for the mailing list, which probably
explains why I got nothing.

Cripes, this isn't one of those 'old school/grumpy old men' Unix mailing lists
where you've got to have a 15 year history with 'real unix' before you can
ever hope to use it correctly?

I'm beginning to understand why it's been so difficult to find install info.
