Let me join in the congrats. It hasn't been the busiest of mailing lists
(thank goodness), but any group which lets me mount my hobby horse in
public without being offended or disgusted gets my vote!

But what's happened to some of the old fowk? Gary Blair left the list
because there wasn't enough traffic on it, which seems an odd reason
indeed. But what happened to the likes of Philip Whittaker and are you
still there, Chic? Does Erica still listen in? Jan Tappan? Haven't heard
from Timothy for a while.

Maybe it's time for me to goad you into a "whitye bin uptae?" -type thread.

Me? Since moving to Crieff life has been busy. I'm teaching three adult
evening classes in Edinburgh which involves a lot of driving, as well as
some private students. The third ALP tunebook, which was my responsibility
from start to finish, was released. I'm moving to a new house at the end
of this month, after which I'm planning on working on some new
publications, including "Gatherer's Musical Museum Volume 2", which
promises to have some great tunes. I plan to start a house session here in
Crieff when I'm settled.

The most recent tunes I've learned are "The Angel's Share" - a lovely slow
air composed by Crieff local Derek Richardson and recorded by On the
Wagon; "Stan Chapman's Jig" by Jerry Holland - been meaning to learn that
one for a while; "The High Drive" by Gordon Duncan - great reel.

What about you?
