Re: [AI] Axe Updates: Introducing the Keyboard Guided Test

2020-01-29 Thread Ronald Escrader
Extra inputs on AXE PRO TOOL.

What is axe Pro?

The most effective way to build accessible websites and apps is to
incorporate accessibility testing into the earliest stages of your
development process. Automated accessibility tools like axe have done
a lot to help ensure that developers are catching issues while they
code, but a lot of accessibility issues still require additional
testing performed by an expert.

Axe Pro is a new kind of accessibility testing tool that helps you
perform more advanced accessibility testing without having to become
an expert. It includes a series of intelligent guided tests that take
you through a series of simple questions about your page content and
then build an issue report based on your answers.
•Axe Pro tests are performed via a web-based app in conjunction with a
Chrome browser extension.
•It lets you perform more advanced accessibility testing without
requiring special accessibility expertise.
•In addition to the advanced testing modules, axe Pro performs all axe
automatic tests.
•With axe Pro you can manage multiple accessibility tests, limit the
scope of your testing to a single component or part of a page, and you
can export issues.

this in accessories.
As they are different architecture that is the reason separate release are made.
Besides tablets, , some netbooks sport ARM processor.

Hi,
the term you are referring to here is based on architecture of a processor.
arm 64 is an arm architecture which supports 64 bit processing(generally
used in AMD radon processors) at a time whereas just 64bit(according to
your question) might be using some different architecture but it is also
capable of processing 64bits at a time.
This is a little technical stuffs generally taught in subjects like
computer organization and architecture.
your question's simple answer would be they might be 2 different
architecture capable of processing 64bits at a particular time.

Re: [AI] WHAT IS DIFERENCE BETWEEN 64 AND ARM64-BASED SYSTEM

2020-01-29 Thread Abhisar Waghmare
Hi,
the term you are referring to here is based on architecture of a processor.
arm 64 is an arm architecture which supports 64 bit processing(generally
used in AMD radon processors) at a time whereas just 64bit(according to
your question) might be using some different architecture but it is also
capable of processing 64bits at a time.
This is a little technical stuffs generally taught in subjects like
computer organization and architecture.
your question's simple answer would be they might be 2 different
architecture capable of processing 64bits at a particular time.

[AI] Axe Updates: Introducing the Keyboard Guided Test

2020-01-29 Thread Ronald Escrader
Hi All,

Below is the new update of the "Axe tool" on keyboard guided test.

Axe Updates: Introducing the Keyboard Guided Test

We are very excited to announce the immediate availability of the 4.3
release of the axe Chrome Extension! Included in this release are bug
fixes, usability improvements, and a new Intelligent Guided Test for
axe Pro users.

Introducing the Keyboard Guided Test

The Keyboard Guided Test is the first new test to be added since axe
Pro was made available last year. This test is designed to help raise
issues around missing focus indicators, missing ARIA roles, keyboard
inaccessibility, and many others.

All of this is accomplished by the axe extension automatically tabbing
through all of the stops on the page and collecting information about
each one. Once this is completed, the user is asked a series of simple
questions like many of the other guided tests, and Voilà! A succinct
list of accessibility issues with the tab stops on the tested page.

Screenshot of focus indicators highlighted via the keyboard tool

Figure: Notice the focus indicators numbered 1 through 13 that were
automatically added while going through the keyboard intelligent
guided test

Usability & Improvements

As part of this release, the URL of the page being analyzed is listed
in the “What you’re analyzing” section. In addition, we have renamed
the Scoping functionality to use the word “Component” to more
succinctly reflect the usage trends in modern day web development.
With this capability, users can analyze individual parts of a page
(modals, forms, etc.) so they can focus on particular areas of
interest without being bogged down by excess test results.

Upcoming Releases

The team behind axe Pro is hard at work on a number of improvements
and can’t wait to share the fruits of their labor. Stay tuned to this
blog and our Twitter feed in the coming months for a number of
enhancements and improvements coming to your favorite accessibility
extension as well as information about general availability.

Upgrade to axe Pro for free and try our 7 guided tests, manage
multiple tests, export results, and more…
