So unless you're calling a different python version maybe using even the abbreviation py, when you use the command python and pip they should theorically point to the same version. This might be deserving of a topic of its own, but ever since the last Windows 10 update and the skype update that came with it I can no longer freely navigate skype as if it is a web page or something. I am forced to use tab to jump between tabs, contacts etc. It does not bother me all that much, what is driving me mad is that I can no longer freely navigate, select, copy and paste certain parts of messages. In fact, the only way I seem to be able to copy messages is to use NVDA + left-click to snap to the message and then right-click and copy. However, whenever a message is short the cursor snaps to empty space and I can't right-click on the message and have to navigate to it with the mouse manually which is very frustrating.Am I being an idiot? Is there an easier way of doing this? I guess at this stage it's impossible to answer since we don't know how human neurons would interact with whatever other species' and how this would impact their cognition. But there is also the seeming ethical double standard of why doing this to something with human neurons in its brain is wrong, but when it's a regular animal it's fine. Especially since many behaviours once thought unique to humans have been found in other animals as well, which raises the question of how different their experience is to our own. Obviously no other animal can reason and understand things the way we do, but we don't consider it wrong to experiment on people because of this, otherwise doing it on babies before they're old enough to understand then killing them would be fine. If it's really just about avoiding suffering then why is it just that humans and some animals humans are particularly attached to are entitled to this? For example doing to dogs what is done to many other animals would be considered cruel and unacceptable, but only because people empathise with some animals like dogs much more than others.On the other hand this could have very beneficial results, a lot of people die while waiting on long organ recipient lists, and if this takes off it could save a lot of those lives. I need a new media player. HI.I've updated to the latest version of windows 10 and have found that windows media player stutters when I play audiobooks.I'd like a new media player that can skip like windows media player can. I use winamp and it's great but it doesn't jump 20 or so minutes eatch time I press the right arrow, (I listen to 12 hour books and would like to jump around them,) I've heard of fuber 2000, is that any good? There, you could either create your own scheme, name it something like shortened controls, and then change the names that will be spoken for each control the way you want. The dialogs are pretty straight forward so you should not have any issues. I am assuming you switched to the Skype built in to Windows 10, since that one is a universal app and you cannot navigate it like a web page. Either make sure you are using Skype for desktop, or for copying, you actually don't need to do it with the mouse commands, the applications key should work on a message, however if not if you tab once past it there should be a more options button, which when pressed should offer the ability to copy. Additionally, you can make it even easier for yourself by installing the speech history official addon for NVDA, which will offer the ability to copy anything spoken with the f12 key which can also be changed in the input gestures dialog. It also allows you to go through the history of spoken things with shift f11 and shift f12 and copy something older if needed. Shortening the names of control elements in jaws Hey and good morning.I think you all, or at leased those who work with jaws know the problem, you work under pressure and jaws is just talking to much for your liking. For example, the word "Combo box".. Yeah, just 3 sylables, but you get my point.What I would like to do now is change that certain control element to a shorter version of itself or another thing at all. for example, turn combo box into simply combo or the word box.I don't want to use the dictionary manager because when I have the normal word combo box, for example in a text file like a readme, I still want it to say it out normally, I only want the shortened version when I detect a combo box on a website or in a program, only then should it use the shortened version.Is this somehow possible, or does a script exist for that? I suppose these names of elements work through constants which are saved in a text file somewhere, if these values could be changed, that would be the easiest solution, I can't find a file with the definitions though.So, does someone know if that works right away from the UI or from a file hidden somewhere deep in the jaws settings and file structure?Greetings Moritz. Re: Madden NFL 20 Beta, terms and FAQ as an aside, I admittedly don't know how different the menus for playtype in 19 are than 20, but they appear to be the same. good news is however, that getting to playtype in 20 requires 3 down from coach suggestions for both offense and defense instead of four for defense. you'll always start off the next time on repeat last play unless you press circle or B to go back to playbook, then you'll be placed back on play type. Remember though that if you go one to the right for example and pick a run play, when going back into playtype, you'll be put back on passing options.silly me, apparently defense is four. must have somehow misjudged earlier. my bad. Re: problems when installing Modules in python My recommendation is to first, before running any script, jump into the Python environment. Just type python in cmd, and trying importing the library. This is just to verify that your imports are either working or not working, even after pip install. If this does not work, one of a number of things could be wrong: you may have conflicting copies of Python (for example, another Python version you explicitly installed, another python version pulled in by a POSIX-like subsystem like Cygwin or Msys2, or python from somewhere in Visual Studio or similar IDE), or Pip is not properly aligned with your Python version. One last measure you can try is typing "python -m pip install library" (without the quotes) and then try importing again. Doing that command ensures that the pip module that actually corresponds to the python version you are using gets used. Finally, if all advice given here does not work, just uninstall and reinstall Python. Also, if you uninstall, make sure you delete all traces of the program, including Pip, pip cache, etc. Usually it can be found under c:\users\your_user_name\appdata\local . A few other things can be found depdning on your Python version. I hope this helps. In search of a text retreavel tool Hey and good morning.I'm looking for a tool which is able to search through multiple text files and presents me with what it has found for example.Let's say I'm sitting in a programs folder and I need to find a specific string in a file, for example, the string window size, but I don't know where that setting file of the program is in the programs folder.what I want the tool to do is that I point it twards the path of the program, give it the string window size and the tool should run through every sup folder and every file and look if it found the string window size somewhere. Their solution to fixing the quest thing is to eliminate them altogether, and boy are they doing that, not sure what part of that isn't obvious. I mean half of the questlocked jobs and abilities are no longer questlocked, heck even that last bluemage ability that used to be a quest isn't a quest anymore. Also the game has been through 3 administrations, which is why we are only now starting to see changes. You can also configure keyboard shortcuts to play, pause, stop, jump you to the previous or next item in your playlist, and change the volume. Technically, you can configure keyboard shortcuts for almost every function in the application that can be accessed through a menu or settings dialog. Best of all, many of these keyboard shortcuts are global throughout your system if you choose, so you can switch your focus and still use your keyboard shortcuts. There is also an addon that unfortunately does not work globally, called foo Seek box which will allow you to enter a time in the format hh:mm:ss to skip too in your current file. (beta68) let me put it to you this way.In a multiplayer match with single elimation, as in the player doesn't come back to life if they die, if two people gang up on the same guy, they will kill him faster and then have only one opponent to worry about, which makes things easier. And that is if everyone is evenly matched and nobody has an advantage.It is even more important to act this way if one side does have an advantage, or one saide has a particular disadvantage in regards to one of their opponents. Taking out the easiest target first is the smart thing to do. A team battler should be prepared for this either with aid ally cards, parries to deal with their weaknesses, or other things of that sort to keep that weak ally from being overrun or keep themselves from being overrun if they are the weak one.Also, team play is different from one-on-one play, so sometimes it is best to construct your decks specifically for one format or the other, some cards are distinctly more useful in one format while some are good at all formats. You can also configure keyboard shortcuts to play, pause, stop, jump you to the previous or next item in your playlist, and change the volume. Best of all, these keyboard shortcuts are global throughout your system if you choose, so you can switch your focus and still use your keyboard shortcuts. There is also an addon that unfortunately does not work globally, called foo Seek box which will allow you to enter a time in the format hh:mm:ss to skip too in your current file. I overview failed battles to find what went wrong and change strategies accordingly4. Sometimes a few more levels make a huge difference5. I found that stats is the biggest issue with new players. We are free to pick stat rolls and forget to worry about duration of battles and survival. For instance, a wis caster should be str and agi should total 1x, vit and will would be 1.5x each, and wis being main would be 2x so, a level 60 char would have str 30, agi 30, vit 90, wis 120, and will 90. That's for better healing/resistance, attacks, and the proper equipment. Re: Madden NFL 20 Beta, terms and FAQ as an aside, I admittedly don't know how different the menus for playtype in 19 are than 20, but they appear to be the same. good news is however, that getting to playtype in 20 requires 3 down from coach suggestions for both offense and defense instead of four for defense. you'll always start off the next time on repeat last play unless you press circle or B to go back to playbook, then you'll be placed back on play type. Remember though that if you go one to the right for example and pick a run play, when going back into playtype, you'll be put back on passing options.
