The main reason if you don't groupby the data will not be granular enough for the class to handles the returns. Thanks Roberto! I have been reading the development guide. If I do not use the send method in the fetch() method, will the fetch () method do a send of the records in the tables defined in the datasource? I noticed when I create a report with the table SalesTable and SalesLine in the datasource. And when I do not send the SalesLine from within the fetch method and do not include a section group for the salesLine in the report, the lines are not printed. Hi all, Document management functionality allows us to add all sorts of documents to table records. Incoming, outgoing mail, word documents, outgoing faxes, and so on. Looking at these documents however I notice that you have to create entries in document management for a document or else it will not become visible. Secondly when you delete an entry the document is also deleted from the file location. Some questions: - Is it possible to have document management create its own catalog from files in a folder? The reason for asking is that I have incoming faxes which are stored in a folder and I want these to be available for searching in document management. But I do not want to raise each of these as entries in document management manually. - How can I prevent documents from being deleted once the entry is removed from document management. - Has anyone worked with Indexing Services? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Documents / Address lines
Hi, I have two questions: 1. Is there a way to avoid that blank lines on an address field are printed in a report? 2. I have two fields that I print on a document next to each other. When they are printed there is a lot of space between the two fields. Although I have set the width to auto and label width to auto, filled the complete field the space between the fields remains. Problem Printing Detail Charges from MarkupTable on SalesInvoiceUS

I am having a problem printing the detail Misc
Charges (from the
MarkupTrans table) on the SalesInvoiceUS report.
No descriptions or charges
print on my report. I get no description and .00

I have assumed that it is sufficient to go after
the MarkupTrans table
using just RecId and queried both tables to be

Hey Bob, If you right-click on an item # you will get a context menu – this menu will in have a “go to the main table” item in it. If you pick that, it will load the inventory item master screen for that item. Go to the main table on the item, look at your dimension group, go to main table,you should see the dimension is set to active and primary stocking meaning that you have to specify it. Hey Bob, Your item on your sales order has inventory dimension that is set as required. Go to the main table on the item, look at your dimension group, go to main table, you should see the dimension is set to active and primary stocking meaning that you have to specify it. You should either set to another dimension that doesn’t require size or turn it off in the dimension setup. If you don’t want to turn this off you need to make sure when you pick it (pickling list registration). Look at PurchInvoice and SalesInvoice. On salesInvoice there is a method called InvoiceTxt that prints this label based on a negative amount. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Setting up the Axapta Enterprise Portal
Dear all, I am trying to get the Enterprise Portal installed but for some reason it is not working. Looks like I am missing a step in the instruction. I am using the setting up enterprise portal manual. Following steps I have performed: Installed the license key for enterprise portal. Installed the roles. 1) Install IIS. 2) Register the Business Connector in Component services. I run the connector status test and it was working. 3) Create a configuration file for the portal (optional) 4) Create a web site using the Web sites form and the web site wizard. 5) Set up the enterprise portal 6) Set up web users I expected the enterprise portal setup wizard to create the necessary files in the web server to launch the portal, but this did not happen. Neither were the roles (user groups) created. Now I have two questions: - how are the roles (groups) ep_admin, ep_sales etc created. - is there no web page needed and stored on the web server to launch the web site and when are these created regards, Don Yahoo! Dear all, My company is preparing new customer price agreements for the third quarter of the year. I have been looking at the trade journals. When I create a journal for sales prices I am able to retrieve all lines complying to defined criteria from the existing trade agreements by clicking the button select. Now I have a question about the other buttons Adjustment and Copy. When these are used do they apply to all the lines in the journal or only to the line the cursor is on. How can adjustments be used.
