Hi i do not know a lot what emc2 can and can not do. so i open for all recommendations. about ---M1xx G1 X100 Y240 F100 so for example instead G1 will be M101G1 and instead G0 will be M102G0 system will pick up M101 and M102 am i right? if so who will altered code that instead G0 put in M102G0 and instead G1 put in M101G1? will CAD/CAM let me do such alteration? is there stand alone software that can do that? All that i want is that when in program show up G0 pin 40 get signal 5V DC and when G1 show up in program pin 45 get 5VDC (pin N as example) System must clearly identify when it moves under G0 or G1. thank you aram On Fri, Oct 17, 2014 at 1:39 PM, alex chiosso achio...@gmail.com wrote: Why do not use a custom M function syncronized to do that ? [Emc-users] Multiple instances of classicladder
Is it possible to run multiple instances of classicladder? I want to run several identical production lines from one control system using cl. The idea is to design one cl for one line and load them like: loadrt classicladder_rt names=cl1,cl2,cl3,... loadusr classicladder (...) and connect signals to multiple cl instances in hal. I tried names, count, but these arguments are not recognised and this raises an error. Something like this would be useful: loadrt classicladder_rt names=cl1,cl2 addf cl1.refresh some-thread addf cl2.refresh some-thread loadusr classicladder cl1 cl-t1.clp loadusr classicladder cl2 cl-t2.clp I tried also: loadrt classicladder_rt addf classicladder.0.refresh slow-thread loadusr classicladder cl-t1.clp loadusr classicladder cl-t2.clp System loads, but it loads only first loadusr instance and I get this warning: HAL: ERROR: duplicate component name 'classicladder' Any other suggestions? -- Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7. Re: [Emc-users] Multiple instances of classicladder
It's not currently possible to have multiple instances of classicladder running within the same hal session. I suspect the modifications to do this in classicladder would be complex even for someone familiar with the source code. Jeff -- Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7. Re: [Emc-users] ubuntu 10.04 on GA-J1800N-D2P
You need to use the latest firmware for the board. I think it is the F3 version. The original version was apparently very buggy. After I upgraded the firmware I found the BIOS to be ok. The J1900's boards performance and hardware is pretty impressive. I would not waste much time trying to get that to run on 10.04. Everything I read says that even Ubtuntu 12.04 was too old for it. Here is a long discussion on the Baytrail boards. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=184930 The Gigabyte J1900 I have is powered with a Pico power supply and supplied with 12 volts from my lab power supply. The Pico power supply only draws about 1/2 an amp at 12 VDC when idling along running a GPS navigation application. The power input seems to peak at a little less than one amp when it runs full tilt during startup. I think the design is suppose to be a 10 watt TDP and I think it is very close to actually being that. Dave On 10/18/2014 12:38 PM, Ricardo Moscoloni wrote: Thanks for the feedback Dave.
