RE: Email Viruses
Title: Message No problem. Plus, you have to remember that since it is the client, (OLSecPatch), it doesnt actually delete the attachment, it only blocks access to it. If you were to access that e-mail from another computer that didnt have the patch installed, you would be able to get to the offending attachment just fine. I read in one of your later posts that you had NAV for Exchange. I would try and do some more checking, maybe even a call to Symantec, regarding the attachment blocking. It is hard to understand that it would limit you on the number of attachments it can block, but there are plenty of things that we dont understand whey they are. Hope you get this resolved. Title: Message Thanx! Guess I'll make the dreaded call to symantec. -Original Message-From: Benjamin Winzenz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2001 9:25 AMTo: MS-Exchange Admin IssuesSubject: RE: Email Viruses No problem. Plus, you have to remember that since it is the client, (OLSecPatch), it doesn't actually delete the attachment, it only blocks access to it. If you were to access that e-mail from another computer that didn't have the patch installed, you would be able to get to the offending attachment just fine. I read in one of your later posts that you had NAV for Exchange. I would try and do some more checking, maybe even a call to Symantec, regarding the attachment blocking. It is hard to understand that it would limit you on the number of attachments it can block, but there are plenty of things that we don't understand whey they are. Hope you get this resolved.
