Hello: I can't find Abiword in MDK-8.2 download version. I've tried to install latest cooker *.src.rpm but compilation gives me errors. Finally, I tried to install the rpm binaries from the project home page. Again got errors: "libpng.so.2 is needed". Has someone got installed the latest version of Abiword in MDK-8.2? I am using bastille-firewall. Scanned my computer in sygatetech.com as you suggest and all UDP ports are closed. I configured it with "InteractiveBastille -x" I don't enter anything for "UDP service names or port numbers to allow on public interfaces" and let "UDP services to block" as default (i.e. 2049 6770). [expert] Netatalk questions
Hello: I've been using Netatalk in my Mandrake box for a few months and now a few questions has arisen to me. *First: I want to access my netatalk server from outside my local network. The problem is that I'm using the interactive Bastille Firewall where i have enabled port 548 (afpovertcp). This let me see the server but don't let me log-on. Of course when i shutdown Bastille-Firewall everything works fine. Do i need to enable any other port? *Second: And more generic one. The netatalk service uses plain text for authentification, so is there any possibility to increase security? Maybe SSH? I could not find anything.
