Yes it is just a game. I can give you a detail explanation of why
breathing is not just breathing when in fact it is just breathing. If
you are really serious that this is not a game then you need to stop
playing it and come back to it when becomes "Just a game again" or you
might end up just like Rayneserver.

[hlds] new hacks

2006-04-16 Thread DT

Hi, Just wanted to give you a FYI.
I was just playing on a 24/7 office only CS:S server (40) people at
Noob.com about 10:00 p.m. A hacker came on tonight with new hacks. The
were an assortment in one hack. Speed, H-shot, etc... He said he had a
new site called unknownhacks.com

They (hacks) seemed very effective and he also took the main admin name,
who has not played today. At least some of the noob members said that.
Anyways, somehow he found out the name so I'm assuming he got it from
the server. He said he didn't care if admin came cause he couldn't be
banned or kicked so he invited all of us to the site and said the
hacks were free.

Hope this helps you someway.

It affects all versions of CSP & CVARBLOCK as well as all versions except
the latest of zBlock

AFAIK, zBlock is the only one that has a fix for this exploit, although I am
happy to be proven wrong in this case.

Luckily or unluckily we found out about this particular exploit
approximately 2 hours before close of business on Thursday, and because
there was no quick fix coming, we had to pull zBlock off all our servers
until Tuesday, when all the staff are back from Easter holidays.

We will be upgrading to the latest version then.

There will be an official statement at the end of the CAL season, until than
we'd prefer to prevent any kind of publicity on the issue. If you're running
a public server with CSP on it, I recommend replacing it with the new build

Have another question. Trying to play CZ right now, and my character
is running, falling, basically moving in all directions really slow.
I'm almost walking compared to e veryone else in the server. Any fix
ideas? I have tried:
cl_forwardspeed
cl_backspped
cl_sidespeed

default is 400 but I put them up to 1000.

It was working fine the last time I played which was about 5 days ago.
