Re: TCP2PROD Failure
In this TCP/IP service you have to have the SFS up and running Even in a bare bone zvm 5.4.0 system you need to xautolog VMSERVS, VMSERVU, and VMSERVR then restart PUT2PROD good luck Bill Munson Sr. z/VM Systems Programmer Brown Brothers Harriman CO. 525 Washington Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07310 201-418-7588 President - MVMUA http://www2.marist.edu/~mvmua/ VM Project Officer - SHARE http://www.linkedin.com/in/BillMunson From: Marty Penhorwood mpenhorw...@agfinance.com To: IBMVM@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU Date: 09/21/2010 02:14 PM Subject:TCP2PROD Failure Sent by:The IBM z/VM Operating System IBMVM@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU Hope someone out there has seen this one before. Re: TCP2PROD Failure
Thanks, Bill. I'll give that a try. But I still don't understand why I would need the SFS servers running if I bypass the tcp2prod in the CATALO G entry for the LDAP server. We don't use SFS nor do we have any need for BFS that we're aware of. . . Marty
