Hi, thanks untuk respose-nya.

Btw, saya lihat ClamAV tidak support Real-Time Scanner ya? Jadi hanya bisa
menggunakan Command Line based.
Apakah rekans ada yang tahu software yang berbasiskan GPL spt ClamAV ini
yang sudah mengimplementasikan Real-Time Scanner untuk Windows File Server?
Kalau memang tidak ada, artinya memang sudah saatnya beli atau develop
sendiri (kalau memang sanggup) ya? :p

AFAIK, Akamai adalah 3rd Party provider yang digunakan Microsoft untuk
mendistribusikan Windows Updatenya.
So, kalau ada PC di LAN kamu yang mengaktifkan Automatic Windows Update,
Nantinya PC tsb akan terhubung ke IP Network Akamai.

Kalau sudah ada programnya, tinggal di klik, maka akan muncul Kotak menu untuk 
menampilkan informasi dalam bentuk grafik, berbentuk garis secara vertikal 
berdasarkan waktu dan yang sedang berjalan, secara horizontal di bagian bawah, 
yang untuk defaultnya berwarna merah untuk receive dan biru untuk transmit.  
Bisa juga ditampilkan Show Infonya yang memberikan informasi Speed, Receive, 
Transmit, Time.
Begitu kita on line, maka akan muncul grafiknya.

Gunakan program Adobe Acrobat (bukan Acrobat Reader) yang selain bisa membaca 
file berekstensi pdf, juga bisa meng edit nya.
Setelah program Adobe Acrobat itu di instalasikan, maka kalau kita membuka 
program Word, Excell dan lainnya, akan muncul icon Acrobat Reader dan kalau 
dokumen kita sudah terbuka dan ingin di buat menjadi pdf, tinggal klik icon 
tersebut dan ikuti prosesnya.

anda  bisa  coba  program  PrimoPDF  di  www.primopdf.com, bisa print&save semua
dokument aplikasi anda, word, excel, etc ke format PDF.

satu lagi software tsb freeware :-)

kalo kena virus yang diserang file LSASS.exe, minta  solusinya donk ??.
komputer shutdown sendiri tuh dalan waktu krg lebih 1 menit.
 
saya sudah pake avast dan avg antispyware update yang terbaru tapi kok tetep 
gak ngefek ya,..
masih ada tuh virusnya

Oh, sudah pasti, peta yang di Google Earth itu tidak on line.  Malahan kalau 
Digital Globe Coverage nya di centang, maka kita bisa lihat, peta tersebut 
diambil tanggal berapa dan juga kalau di klik, kita bisa membeli petanya.

  Mas,mba knapa ya kalo dulu saya pernah bisa nge-ping antar komputer via GPRS, 
kalau ga salah sekitar setahun yang lalu, 
bahkan dulu pernah transfer data video walaupun patah-patah, 
tapi sekarang ga bisa lagi, 
bahkan kalo pake kartu Halo ga bisa sekalipun nge-ping ke dirinya sendiri, 
kalo pake kartu IM3 sih masih bisa untuk nge-ping kedirinya sendiri.

Jangan lupa sebelum install CutePDF Writer, anda install dahulu program
GhostScript 8.15 dari link berikut ini:

Nanti akan muncul icon printer baru yg bernama CutePDF Writer, klo km
mau print dari word atau excel atau dari program report seperti Crystal
Report, pas klik tombol printer, arahkan printernya ke CutePDF Writer,
nanti akan ditanya di folder mana file tsb akan anda simpan. Lalu kasih
nama file PDF yg akan di-create tsb, trus selesai sudah. Dokumen atau
report tsb sudah dlm bentuk PDF.

Untuk Visual Basic, lebih baik anda mulai mempelajari VB.NET, jangan
hanya VB 6.0 saja. Lagian sudah tdk disupport lagi oleh Microsoft.

Lalu belajarlah bahasa JAVA, karena prospek bahasa ini untuk 10 atau
20 tahun mendatang masih cukup bagus, karena disupport oleh SUN.
Atau bisa juga anda belajar C Sharp (C#) dari Microsoft. Bahasa C
juga bagus koq untuk dipelajari, karena itu banyak game2 3D dibuat
dgn menggunakan bahasa C. Dan klo anda handal dan jago dlm bahasa
C, anda bisa kerja di pengembang game di Amrik sono dan anda bisa
mendapatkan high salary sbg programmer game. Tapi yg utama sich
anda harus fokus dulu terhadap bahasa program yg mana dulu yg ingin
anda pelajari dan kuasai, jangan belajar setengah2. Misalnya setelah
anda menguasai bahasa JAVA, lalu mulailah anda belajar bahasa C
atau belajar C#. CMIIW

btw, ternyata IP nya dapet langsung dari BT (British Telecom)
Indosat hanya menyediakan koneksinya saja..

 1. Saya bukan dari Indosat, tetapi seharusnya user yang membutuhkan IP Public, 
Providernya kasih dengan review network topology, dan nantinya diberikan 
masukan mengenai sekuritas, effesiensi IP dan seterusnya. Seharusnya Provider 
seperti itu , jadi tidak hanya jual bandwith :).
 
 2. Dari beberapa pengalaman saya, implementasi MPLS, mereka menggunakannya 
untuk VoIP, selebihnya mereka gunakan untuk Video Confrence, dan aplikasi 
Online yang memerlukan security lebih baik.
 
 3.Seharusnya ISP Besar sekelas Radnet punya MPLS jg, jadi tinggal tunneling 
Router dan ganti IP saja.
 
 4.IP Publik untuk Domain ?? bukankah bisa numpang di Hosting DNS Provider ?

Mamang resiko menjalnakan partion magic begitu
makanya direkomendasikan datanya di backup dulu, saya juga beberapa 
kali mengalaminya,
habis proses partition saat booting gagal, biasanya hanya OSnya yg 
failure, tinggal install
ulang, tapi kalau biosnya sampai kena belum pernah ngalamin.

FDISK tsb dilakukan di Windows 98? Kalau ya, kemungkinan dipasangi
software semacam deepfreeze. Solusinya, coba anda booting dari CD
setup 98 atau disket boot 98, kemudian lakukan FDISK.

Ada diantara rekan2 yang bisa menjelaskan perbedaan Mozilla firefox
1.5.0.9 dengan 2.x? Kenapa yang versi 1.5.x.x masih dipertahankan?

Apakah memakai versi 1.5.0.9 masih aman? PC saya di rumah tidak
memakai proteksi apapun (antivirus, antispyware, firewall,etc), sebab
keterbatasan hardware (P III 533, 128 MB of RAM). Dan kalau saya coba
install yang versi 2.0.0.1 terasa lambat.

systray kalo default letak taksbar ada di pojok kanan bawah
apakah ada icon yang mencurigakan?
kalo semisal ada deepfreeze silahkan aja tekan Shift+Ctrl+Alt+F6
jika tidak tau passwordnya, silahkan dipartisi menggunakan komputer lain

Kalau terjadi setelah hard disk di format dan di instal kembali windowsnya dan 
belum menginstalasi program lain, ada kemungkinan power supplynya.  Jadi pada 
saat masuk ke program tertentu yang memerlukan daya besar, power supply drop 
dan kemudian normal kembali yang berakibat komputer menjadi hang.  Coba pinjam 
power supply lain.

  mohon bantuannya,
  saya punya komputer yang sudah lama, sudah sminggu ini terpaksa harus 
memformat dan menginstal ulang os-nya (windows ME) selama 3x.

  Kejadiannya adalah setiap login masuk ke windowstiba tiba ada suara bip 
sekali..terus komputer jadi hang...kadang kadang masih ditampilan logo atau 
pernah juga sudah keliatan tampilan desktopnya.

  setelah ku reset...masuk windows berulang begitu terus...akhirnya aku masuk 
ke safe mode...dari situ saya coba pake system restore..tapi ketika diliat 
ternyata back up system restore yg lama ngga ada...

  akhirnya aku jalankan booting pake dos...dan aku scanregtnyata ada 
masalah pada file file vxd ...dan dibetulkan. kemudian discan disk juga ada 
eror pd system files
  setelah fixed, saya restart kembali login windows...tetap tidak mau dan 
kejadian seperti td
  klo dah begini saya langsung memformat dan menginstal ulang windows di drive 
c: 
  Pernah saya coba dengan cara ditumpuk isntalasinya...tp di proses instalasi 
muncul erorpadahal sumber os-nya bukan dr CD tp dari drive d:

  setelah dinstal ulang normal kembali sampai kira" 2-3 hari an...dan kasus 
berulang lg saya cek hardware kelihatannya semua normal pada saat 
booting...(ram, prosesor, dvd rom, hardisk)

  spek komputer saya : 
  pros. : amd 2000+
  mb. : asus v8xmx
  ram : 128 mb
  hadisk : 40 gb
  vga : ati radeon 9200
  lain" : dvd rom, floopy, monitor lcd, tv tuner, eksternal hdisk, flashdisk

  apakah ini virus..klo yah apa ada antivirusnya..?

Mas Bayu bisa nyoba menggunakan menu repair dari CD Installer dari Windows
XP (Booting pakai CD) ada 2 cara :
1. Booting lewat CD - Tekan R (untuk merepair OS) - tekan "1" - masukkan
password administratornya kalau nggak ada [Enter] saja. Setelah keluar C
prompt ketik "fixboot" [Enter] - tekan "Y" - ketik "CHKDSK /p /f" [Enter] -
setelah selasai restart dan booting lewat HD.

2. Proses repair seperti install baru, setelah menekan tombol F8, Windows
Installer akan mendeteksi HD apakah ada OS atau tidak dan akan muncul
pilihan menu/option :
- Insatall baru [Enter]
- Repair [R]
- Quit [F3]
Tekan "R" Dengan catatan status dari HD tersebut "Windows XP Proffesional"
(lihat tampilan dibawah menu pilihan). Kalau status dari HD bukan "Windows
XP" keluar aja [F3]. Proses selanjutnya seperti install baru.

  Seperti kita ketahui, kalau kita pasangkan memory card di card reader, maka 
akan terbaca misalnya menjadi drive g:. Apakah mungkin memory card tersebut di 
partisi, sehingga sebagian dari memorynya dibuat menjadi drive g: dan sisanya 
menjadi drive h: ?

  Tujuannya adalah, P900 saya, hanya bisa membaca memory stick maksimum, 128MB 
dan kalau bisa di partisi, maka mungkin, P900 saya bisa menggunakan misalnya 
memory stick yang 256MB dan karena drivenya berbeda, misalnya drive d: dan 
drive e:, maka semua isi memory tersebut, menjadi bisa diakses.

Mungkin pas denger namanya aja (dari maxgain) atau tempat interviewnya (BEJ 
Tower 2) orang udah takut duluan, soalnya maxgain udah memberikan citra 
buruk di dunia perlowongan, jadi walaupun maxgain sekarang membutuhkan IT, 
orang orang jadi kagak percaya lagi sama maxgain :)

[ITCENTER] edit tabel oracle 10g

kawan-kawan IT'ers saya ada masalah dengan oracle 10g nih. jadinya
misalkan saya mempunyai suatu tabel dengan entitinya id_kurs,
nama_kurs, jumlah_kurs. nah pada awalnya saya menset jumlah_kurs
dengan datatype number, sizenya 10, scalenya 0, null yes. saat ini
saya ingin merubah scalenya menjadi 2.

apabila belum terdapat data mungkin tidak menjadi masalah. namun
kendalanya pada database tersebut sudah ada sekitar 600 lebih data.
kira-kira bagaimanakah solusi untuk masalah saya ini?

berarti data yg kita kirim sebesar 32 itu standarnya ping.. bisa juga kita
rubah jadi yg lebih besar:D:D
contoh : ping 202.158.x.x -l 65000
berarti kita ng-ping dengan data rate 65000

time=93ms
berarti IP yg kita tuju mereply ping kita lamanya 93ms itu merupakan waktu
yg lama juga..:D:D
normalnya time<1ms ato 2ms

TTL=59
nah yg ini saya ga tau..:D:D

itu juga ga tau deh yg atasnya bener pa ngga..

buat para suhu.. tolong  benerin kalo ada yg salah

Di kantor saya pernah ada sidak langsung geledah karena ada pelapor +
surat perintah ...
kalau polisinya (reserse kriminal) biasanya gak ngerti apa2... Cd OEM
hardware aja disebut cd bajakan :(  , tapi biasanya mereka bawa beberpa org
IT yg di hire utk cek tiap komputer
point yg mereka hampir semua di cek software apa saja yg terinstall +
License number,  dilaporannya juga disebut jmlh partisi 
setiap user yg mewakili komp. hrs tanda tangan & membenarkan kalo komp. tsb
memang miliknya... bisasanya semua sdh disiapkan kalo memang ada software
bajakan bs langsung disita ato disegel (stiker) ...

sekarang ini memang lagi gencar-nya lagi sidak software bajakan, perusahaan
saya salah satu termasuk yg di sidak

abis itu selesein dah PC demi PC

jaringan kantor saya juga pernah ngalamin yg kek gitu...
tapi setelah ketauan PC mana yg broadcast langsung diputus dari jaringan
trus jaringan normal lagi...

baru deh PC si korban kita selesein...:D:D

  menurut saya MMC dan flashdisk ada beberapa merk yang dapat dipartisi menjadi

Apakah setelah di clean, titik yg sama tetap melakukan broadcast?
Kalau tidak, ada kemungkinan SEMUA titik sudah terinfeksi, untuk
mengatasinya cara yg paling efektif (tapi tidak efisien) harus staging ulang
semua PC dilengkapi dengan update AV, spyware, patch, dll.

Kalau google earth yang free memang fotonya tidak real time. Ada yang baru,
ada pula yang sudah bertahun-tahun. Contohnya kota makassar, yang terfoto
Cuma sebagian, itupun foto yang sudah agak lama. Kalo versi yang bayar, saya
tidak pernah mencobanya. Mungkin rekan-rekan lain sudah ada yang pernah
mencobanya?

Biasanya low level format cukup ampuh untuk mengatasi error-error pada hard
disk yang tidak bisa diselesaikan hanya dengan mem-format biasa. 
PERINGATAN: Cara ini cukup beresiko karena dapat menyebabkan rusaknya hard
disk bila terjadi gangguan tegangan listrik (listrik naik-turun atau mati
lampu) dan jika memilih option full untuk low level format, prosesnya makan
waktu lama (berjam-jam). Sekali lagi hati-hati pak, karena sudah pernah satu
hard disk saya tewas karena mati lampu pas lagi di low level format.

Speedy di makassar juga jadi agak lambat loh, tapi nggak semua situs jadi
lambat. Contoh bhinneka.com tetap saja cepat koneksinya. Yang parah itu
seperti en.wikipedia.org malah tidak bisa diakses sama sekali beberapa hari
ini. Oom google juga ikut-ikutan jadi lesu walaupun masih bisa diakses.

Ini hanya sharing saja. Melihat kualifikasinya, MUNGKIN Maxgain memerlukan 
orang IT. Dan seperti perusahaan bursa yang lain, perusahaan yg begini banyak 
yg tidak memiliki situs sendiri, sehingga memakai alamat yahoo atau email 
publik yg lain. Kantor Maxgain, kalo belum pindah tempatnya di gedung BEJ 
Tower, Sudirman Jakarta.

Kalau nggak salah gaji IT dibidang ini sekitar 1.5juta s/d 2 juta. Dan 
mengurusi sekitar 30 an monitor dengan 15 CPU/Server dalam bentuk jaringan LAN. 
Tugas utamanya adalah mennyadap harga saham/forex yang diambil dari reuter, 
kemudian ditampilkan disemua monitor. Satu kantor biasanya hanya memiliki satu 
orang IT. Kelihatanya sih kerjanya santai saja, selama harga saham/forex bisa 
lancar tertampilkan.

Daripada nganggur, boleh dicoba tuh. Tapi kalo ternyata disuruh menjadi 
marketingnya, kliatanya tidak cocok untuk orang2 IT.

  mau numpang tanya saran boleh ya?
  saya mau pasang internet di tempat saya. saya masih memilih ISP yg bisa saya 
nikmati tanpa ada masalah.
  
  saya sudah coba speedy, tapi masih belum puas. dan kayaknya tidak akan puas. 
radnet? hmm, lumayanlah, tapi tidak begitu stabil.
  
  btw, saya dengar dari teman saya ada ISP namanya net-ZAP. sistemnya wireless.
  apa ada yang pernah denger? kalau ada yang tau, mohon pencerahannya!

Terima kasih buat rekan2 yang telah memberikan input. Nampaknya yang masuk 
akal adalah firewall bawaan windowsnya. Memang kalau masalah OS Windows XP 
home dan Pro, rasanya tidak terlalu berpengaruh karena saya mengalami 
masalah yang sama di kedua OS tadi.
Saya pertama berpikir kabel Network, setelah diganti2 pakai kabel lain (di 
komputer yang jalan), tetapi tidak bisa juga. Saya juga berpikir jangan2 
LAN Card Onboard. Saya sudah pasang lagi LANCard PCI, masih juga tetap 
mengalami hal yang sama. Yang kebetulan saya belum coba menonaktifkan 
firewall bawaan windows. Tapi yang soal nyamain jam, ini agak aneh, tapi 
boleh juga dicoba.

IMHO

Kalau ada kata "Ip private" berarti komputer didalam lan, tergantung
bagaimana model sharing koneksi didepannya.. proses NAT tentunya.
trojan yang active membuat backdoor biasanya memanfaatkan port yang asing
dan terlupakan oleh sang admin. Kalau trojannya gunaain port yahoo atau mirc
masuk akal juga sih, tapi bagaimana mekanisme pengintaian atau serangannya
kalau port tersebut relatif sering digunakan aplikasi aslinya.
memang benar hal ini mungkin bisa terjadi, namun dalam lan yang seharusnya
jadi fokus titik ukur sekuritas jaringan, ya frontend network nya. Kalau
banyak port asing yang terbuka dan diabaikan sang admin, ya tinggal wish u
luck ajah.

belum tentu. walaupun pakai ip private, tetap bisa diisengin oleh
orang luar kalau yang initiate connection adalah komputer itu sendiri.

kok bisa hal ini terjadi? ya bisa saja, selama ada sebuah aplikasi
yang koneksi keluar dan bisa dimanfaatkan. misalnya chatting pakai
mirc, atau lewat YM, atau yang pake komputer mau aja disuruh jalanin
program yang dikirim oleh orang luar, yang ternyata adalah trojan dan
membuat active backdoor.

[ITCENTER] Hardisk Tidak Bisa di FDISK maupun di FORMAT

Dear Rekan Netter,
   
  Saya awam nih dalam hal dunia Hard Disk, saya beli Komputer 2nd beberapa 
bulan yang lalu dari seseorang yang pindah kantor dengan spec, sbb :
   
  Pentium III, 800 MHz,
  RAM, 128MB
  Hard Disk Seagate 20G
  OS Windows 98
   
  Selama ini saya tidak pernah pakai komputer tersebut karena kesibukan 
dikantor, adapun komputer tersebut akan saya pakai dirumah bukan untuk kantor.
   
  Saya berniat untuk mem-Partisi Hard Disk tersebut menjadi 2, dan setelah saya 
Fdisk Hard Disk tidak ada masalah, akan tetapi setelah Komputer saya Restart 
untuk mem-Format, Komputer kembali Login seperti biasa nge-Load OS Win 98 yang 
lama.
   
  Saya bingung kok sudah di Fdisk kok masih bisa nge run OS Win 98 yang lama.
   
  Dan ternyata saya juga TIDAK bisa nge-DELETE maupun nge-SAVE File ke dalam 
Hard Disk tersebut. SAAT MENGETIK ( MS WORD ) BISA DI SAVE tapi setelah 
Komputer DI SHUTDOWN / DI RESTART, FILE YANG DI SAVE TADI JADI HILANG.
   
  JADI SEMUA FILE YANG ADA DIKOMPUTER TAK SATUPUN YANG BISA DIHAPUS.
   
  Apakah mungkin ada semacam Security Setting secara Software atau via WINDOWS 
REGISTRY Mungkin...??? Saya sudah coba format via OS Win 2000 tetap tidak 
bisa...
   
  Mungkin teman2 netter pernah mengalami hal yang sama, tolong bagi tipsnya 
donggg
   
  Karena saya mau Format Hard Disk ini dan ganti OS-nya.

Tadinya mau sekalian membandingkan dengan merek lain, tapi kaya'nya 
sulit. Rencananya umur versi akunting yang dirubah atau ganti merek yang 
umurnya (per harga) lebih panjang.

Berarti yg ngremote adalah backdoor? Bukan langsung orang dari luar layaknya
lagi sedang di remote menggunakan kaht (misalnya) (CMIIW lagi)

sorry klo mungkin topik ini udah pernah,

mo  tanya  ada  bbrp  orang  yg  bilang  google  earth  itu  bisa  realtime foto
sattelitnya.. tapi koq aku coba bolak balik.. gambar yg ditampilkan koq itu2 aja
yah?  sepertinya gambar kota-nya ga' update sama sekali.. pernah aku hapus/clear
cache  memori  google  earth-nya biar bisa stream ulang.. trus aku liat kota new
york,  trus mengarah ke patung liberty.. lah posisi sebuah kapal di dekat patung
itu sama aja.. ga' berubah dari hari ke hari. padahal udah gua clear cache-yna.

apa  emang ada program yg realtime? ato yg free version itu ga' realtime trus yg
bayar itu realtime foto satelitnya??
