Re: Problems with memory usage on 1.560

2014-04-23 Thread Larry Shatzer, Jr.
I've run into issues with the Clone Workspace plugin. Once I rolled back to
1.599, it went away. Have you tried to downgrade back to 1.559?

I've noticed that 1.559 uses Remoting 2.37, and 1.560 uses 2.39, and master
is currently on 2.40. I've not tried running this with what is on master
yet. I've been meaning to ping the IRC channel about this.

Here's my stacktrace:

The source is here:

And the feature you are using was added by domi, in

I see ssh-slaves in the stable json now. It probably takes a while for some
things to propagate through the systems.

Your ssh slaves needs to be 1.0

On the advanced tab for plugins refresh and update that plugin.

Re: HTML Publisher plugin no longer listed

2013-07-03 Thread Larry Shatzer, Jr.
There's a problem with the wiki and that page I see lots of exceptions
trying to load up
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Plugins#Plugins-Artifactuploaders,
which is where that plugin should be shown. If you add a random query
parameter to the URL, like
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Plugins?a=a,
then it will show up, so it might be something wrong with the caching that
the wiki has.

Check the logs when this is happening. I've had issues with some old
plugins in the past with similar behavior. Luckily they were plugins that
were no longer used in my instance, so removal of them fixed it for me. I'd

I use the MSBuild plugin (

Some other useful plugins:

Gallio Plugin, which hooks into the xUnit plugin:

Re: Grails: Plugin Perform Maven Release

If you are using the Maven integration for Grails, it should be the same,
but if you are using the Grails plugin, the only thing you can do is use
the standard Release plugin to script it yourself. It's what I did, along
with some script code inside a shared plugin across projects that takes
care of the PreRelease steps and the PostRelease steps that are specific
for situation.

This plugin was created for Jenkins, and not Hudson, since it uses
jenkins.model.Jenkins instead of hudson.model.Hudson, and you are running
Hudson. You can upgrade to Jenkins and then use this plugin.

Re: How to tag Jobs for grouping in Dashboard

2012-11-19 Thread Larry Shatzer, Jr.
I started work on a plugin that would allow you to label jobs to group them
together by using the JobProperty [1] extension point. I didn't get too far
(nothing usable) before I shelved it due to time and work load. You might
want to look into that extension point. I envisioned a way similar to
labeling nodes to allow you to label jobs that you could make use of in
filters for dashboards, and other uses.

Are you running your job with this plugin:

Before I had NuGet implemented, I use the artifact copy plugin to copy the

I use one job per project, and use NuGet (http://nuget.org/) to store
artifacts and depend on them. There is no auto dependency feature for
triggering dependency jobs. I've manually set them up.

The way the Maven Deployment Linker works is that it scans the logs for a
regular expression so it can get the link to your maven repository to put
the link(s) of the artifacts uploaded to your maven repository on the job

I do have some code I've written that implements a QueueTaskDispatcher that
will cause a blockage if upstream jobs are in the queue, so it will in
effect do what you want and not build ProjectC untill ProjectA and ProjectB
are done. I'll try to get it ready to make into a plugin, and release it
soon.
