But Okular lets me even scroll beyond the end. I.e., the last page is the EULA page, shown as Page 315 of 435 in Okulars Page Bar. [krita] [Bug 409976] New: krita left click drag layer not working
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409976 Bug ID: 409976 Summary: krita left click drag layer not working Product: krita Version: 4.2.3 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Layer Stack Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: dragonnetst...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY At any given moment the left mouse button doesn't drag a layer to a new spot, but attempts to drag the entire field of Layers within the docker/tab. Highly impractical compared to previous iterations of Krita, where it was simply left click > able to drag and drop. Especially unhandy as I often drag layers with pen tool, which uses only left click. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any document in Krita 4.2.3 2. Hold down left click over an existing layer in layer tab/docker 3. Attempt to drag layer up or down the row of layers in the docker 4. Not happening, layer area (in Docker below the 'opacity' bar) gets dragged until left mouse is let go, and reverts to normal position (so NOT the entire Docker) OBSERVED RESULT Where Krita used to function properly on this left click > drag layer. It now attempts to drag the entire field of layers. (Everything below "opacity") This effect can also be found when scrolling through settings > Keyboard Shortcuts > left click and hold on one of the options in the 'Shortcuts" tab and then drag it up or down. In both cases a 'hold' hand appears in stead of the cursor, and the area gets dragged to the appointed side, only to revert to it's original position upon release of the left mouse button. EXPECTED RESULT just a left click, as in all previous Krita editions. (Last one used was 4.1.7) In the Layers left click+hold+drag I expect Krita to pick up the layer and drag it where I let it go. We are always logged in with multiple users on the same console, switching from one account to another with KDE's "Switch User" facility. 1) when user A locks the screen, then using the 'Switch User' button on the locked screen, CPU is normal (~1%). 2) when user A selects the 'Switch User' from the K-menu, then I see /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/kscreenlocker_greet --immediateLock --graceTime 5000 --ksldfd 36 shooting up 100%+ on 2 cores (htop reports values from 98% to 133% sometimes). Now if 3 users are logged in and 2 have switched accounts this way (the most convenient actually), then 4+ cores are being maxed out, rendering the machine unusable, and then less experienced users simply reboot it with the reset button (sometimes by pressing it for 25 seconds, needing journal replays on disk paritions) My rig: Kubuntu 18.04 libkscreenlocker5:amd64 5.12.8-0ubuntu0.1 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-baloo] [Bug 409881] Display a notification when indexing first begins
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409881 --- Comment #3 from Łukasz Szeremeta --- As I mentioned in the bug 409876, properties is visible instantly on external drives. As far as I know, in that case indexation is turned off. In addition another person also mentioned that disabled indexation makes properties visible instantly. Why do I need to activate re-indexing manually or restart my system if indexation is enabled to see additional metadata in new files? Why does displaying metadata work immediately for external devices or just places where indexing is off? Maybe it would be possible to display properties without waiting also in the case of indexation enabled? It is possible that there is some other mechanism in those cases and there were some specific reasons why it works as it works. [KBibTeX] [Bug 409415] Freeze when opening edit dialog for second time
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409415 Thomas Fischer changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|ASSIGNED --- Comment #1 from Thomas Fischer --- I cannot reproduce your problem, which makes it hard to help you here. There are several things you can test in the following order: - Create a new test user account on your system and use KBibTeX there. If you cannot reproduce the problem, then some file in your regular user's home is the cause - Setup a virtual machine with a fresh installation of Arch Linux and use KBibTeX there. If you cannot reproduce the problem, then your local installation including system libraries could be the problem. - Setup a virtual machine with an independent, KDE-based Linux distribution which uses recent Qt and KDE libraries, for example Fedora's KDE spin or Kubuntu. Test KBibTeX there. Based on your results, we can try to figure out the next steps. Regarding compiling KBibTeX from Git, you may alternatively try out the instructions here: https://userbase.kde.org/KBibTeX/Development#Quick_Start_to_Run_KBibTeX_from_Git (In reply to Tobias Schmalz from comment #0) > SUMMARY > When trying to open the edit dialog for the second time KBibTeX freezes > completely (no interaction possible, has to be killed via htop or similar). > The first edit dialog has no problems, though. [amarok] [Bug 409966] New: Amarok won't run, complains about missing plugins
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409966 Bug ID: 409966 Summary: Amarok won't run, complains about missing plugins Product: amarok Version: 2.9.0 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: amarok-bugs-d...@kde.org Reporter: eyal...@technion.ac.il Target Milestone: kf5 I've downloaded and built Amarok 2.9.0 on Devuan Beowulf (= Debian Buster without systemd) - after installing a whole bunch of prerequisite Qt and KDE-related packaged. The build succeeds (after a bit of trouble I reported in other issues and got resolved); and I make install'ed amarok to /usr/loca . Now, when trying to run amarok, I get ``` amarok(24045)/kdecore (trader) KServiceTypeTrader::defaultOffers: KServiceTypeTrader: serviceType "Amarok/Plugin" not found ``` on the console, and a message box saying: > Amarok could not find any plugins. This indicates an installation problem. I'm reporting this as a bug for several reasons: 1. If something else need to be present on the system, then cmake'ing should have told me so. 2. Even if something is missing, the GUI and/or console messages should tell me what exactly what files, or folders, are missing so that I could go get them. 3. If plugins need to be installed independently - why aren't they available on the website? 4. If plugins are built and installed - how come amarok doesn't make even a minimal effort to locate them? Note: This is not resolved like the very similar problem I reported a while ago as the very similar bug 399097. And when I increase the dpi I need to make the font size number smaller in order to get the size that I want anyway. When people need to make any type of comics I'm very sure that they need to create tiny texts on the canvas. [Breeze] [Bug 409914] Circular *refresh* and update-* icons have arrows that are facing in the wrong direction
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409914 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Version Fixed In||5.61 Resolution|--- |FIXED Latest Commit||https://commits.kde.org/bre ||eze-icons/74c4155ff3d703e29 ||9a3d86e7d3d030d2c6151e1 Status|ASSIGNED|RESOLVED --- Comment #6 from Nate Graham --- Git commit 74c4155ff3d703e299a3d86e7d3d030d2c6151e1 by Nate Graham. Committed on 18/07/2019 at 19:12. Pushed by ngraham into branch 'master'. Use clockwise arrows for *refresh* and update-* icons Summary: Right now we are inconsistent with the arrow directionality for our circular icons: some use clockwise arrows, and some use counterclockwise. This patch standardizes everything on the clockwise direction. This not only makes everything nice and consistent, but it also fixes the busy indictor spinner looking weird (it rotates clockwise, like all opther busy spinners we've ever seen in any UI toolkit). FIXED-IN: 5.61 Test Plan: {F7046657} {F7046658} {F7046660} {F7046661} {F7046668} {F7046669} {F7046670} The eagle-eyed reviewer will note that the different icons also have different styles of arrows and their rotational offset is also different, but if that's a pre-existing issue that can be done in another patch, if it's also something we want to unify. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401294 Thomas changed: What|Removed |Added CC||thfl...@gmail.com --- Comment #15 from Thomas --- Am I correct that version 0.8.9 already contains the fix? because I still get a stuck zoom about 5 times a day. It's hard to tell when it happens but when the zoom got stuck I can move the zoom to other icons and even other widgets. also the preview or application name is opening and stuck. I found out (some time ago) that the only way to solve it when it got stuck is by hovering the preview or application name of a launcher. I've tried to reproduce it now for about 10 minutes. And I still don't know exactly when it happens. What I can tell is that an app has to be executed and not minizimed then you need to hover this app till the preview is shown but what exact movement is required that it get's stuck.. maybe hovering over the position where the preview is shown at the right moment. maybe moving the pointer far away at the right moment... btw.: I can reproduce it on at least two machines one is on kde neon and the other one is on manjaro linux. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 409944] Toggling 'Global Selection Mask' does not return to the originally selected layer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409944 vanyossi changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ghe...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from vanyossi --- I think the "Show global selection" wasn't meant to be used like that when first implemented. However I can see it could be useful at least to quickly edit the mask and return to the original layer. On the other hand, if enabling "Global Selection Mask" if you have a vector selection and the brush selected, it will change to the cursor tool. This is enabled only for brush tool as global selections can be modified with the other tools (pixel and vector selections), changing the tool automatically to be a brush would not work for all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It was to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Resdistributable (X64) 12.0.30501". I also installed the (X86) version as well to be sure (running 64-bit Windows 10). After that Falkon startet as desired. @kavol: I would like to know if this helps You to get Falkon running on Your system. If it does, I would be pleased if You could close the case.
