Re: How do I Access My Favorites in the New Radium Update for the Mac
Phil, I got a response today from the developer and since they will not support older OSs I will try these settings and see if they wil do it for me. I am not in a rush to upgrade to Yosemite so this will do for now. And there is always iTunes Radio too. Thanks for pointing out the settings. From The Believer. . . Hi Phil and all. This is good to know about the unlabeled buttons. One way that I find the favourites table is press the unlabeled button and quickly hit VO CMD T to go to the table. I heard back from catpigstudios support and they said they would label the favorites list button in a future update. They also explained the purpose of the grid that comes up when pressing the unlabeled button in a station block. The grid contains around 20 unlabeled buttons which are for changing the icons for the search category genres. in other words, it is irrelevant for our purposes. > On Mar 9, 2015, at 10:18 AM, Phil Halton wrote: > > While we’re on the topic of radium, has anyone figured out what the popup > grid in the favorite station block does? Re: How do I Access My Favorites in the New Radium Update for the Mac
While we’re on the topic of radium, has anyone figured out what the popup grid in the favorite station block does? When interacting with a favorite station, there is an unlabeled button at the top left that, when pressed, brings a popup grid of a dozen or so unlabelled buttons. I just emailed catpigstudios support about this as well as asking them to label the favorite stations list button, along with a degree of praise and thanks for their efforts. (don’t forget the thanks and praise when you ask for help from these people - they like it!) > On Mar 9, 2015, at 9:58 AM, Phil Halton wrote: > > you can set “Show track in menu”, and “show Track in notifications” in > general preferences. Re: How do I Access My Favorites in the New Radium Update for the Mac
I think that is one of the enhancements for voice over users in the new version of radium. Now, the name of the song and artist are displayed along with the channel in the list of favorites. Also, you no longer have to do a mouse click to change channels. A simple Fio space works now. I understand there is a new unlabeled button, but there are many enhancements is well. I urge everyone to respect fully request the button be labeled and congratulate them on wanting to be accessible with voiceover. Sent from my iPhone with dictation software. Please excuse any errors. > On Mar 8, 2015, at 4:53 PM, The Believer wrote: > > Yes that is a good idea, and I will do so. > > One thing I am curious about is, how to get the name of the song, artist, > etc, ehile its playing. Yes that is a good idea, and I will do so. One thing I am curious about is, how to get the name of the song, artist, etc, ehile its playing. This is done in iTunes Radio. Can Radium do it also? This sounds like the way it used to work before the recent update. There is an unlabeled button after the search box which toggles the search categories and station favorites list. Re: How do I Access My Favorites in the New Radium Update for the Mac
Hi guys. I just did some investigating about the unlabelled button and The Believer or whatever his name is's idea about clearing a search. First for the believer, my search edit box was clear but still I had the search categories scroll area. For Deb, when I clicked on the unlabelled button, nothing happened. But when I arrowed down it appeared that there was another unlabelled button that Voiceover wasn't picking up with the VO+Right arrow command. Also I did a Vo+Shift+H for the help tag and it informed me that there was no help tag. I'm thinking of emailing the developer about these issues and suggest that all of you that use the app do the same. Re: How do I Access My Favorites in the New Radium Update for the Mac
Its been a while since I looked at Radium. Just did so and here is what I found. Someone said there is an unlabeled button, I did not find that. What works is to clear the search field then you are left with your Favorites in the station list table. If you type in a search the results are listed in that same station table. I did a search, added a couple stations then cleared the search and went back and had all the stations I added. From The Believer. . . Re: How do I Access My Favorites in the New Radium Update for the Mac
There is an unlabeled button after the search box. This button toggles the table from being the search results to being your favorites table. Sometimes the button tool tip is read and sometimes it’s not. Nevertheless it does toggle the function of that table. > On Mar 7, 2015, at 4:18 PM, Shawn Krasniuk wrote: > > Hi all.
