Thank you Raphael!
Now there is Finnish translations in Pootle at level OOo 3.3 what is latest translation.
How to update English part to level AOO 3.4?
As I test Nobody can made suggestions but who can approve translations? I think those who have their names in those translation po files are quit secure choice.

For the translated homepage, it would be good to start with the
English-language version and then translate that. You can get the
English version here:

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/ooo/ooo-site/trunk/content/index.html?view=markup

When you have a translation you want checked in, you could attach your
translation to a Bugzilla issue:

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/enter_bug.cgi?product=www

This was strange way of doing it but now there is bug 119043.

I see there is already a Finnish languagepack. I can send my files but is it
needed now?

A patch is just a contribution of an improvement in the form of a
text file. It could be a patch to a website, corrections to
documentation, translations, etc. It does not need to be code.

Hello Risto, welcome to Apache OpenOffice !

Current it seems that most of the active Finnish localisation team went
  to
LibreOffice.  So there is work to do:

  1) WWW-page is quite ugly after Apache upgrade (needs a committer?)

You can read more about becoming a committer here:

 http://incubator.apache.org/openofficeorg/ppmc-faqs.html#participate

A contributor becomes a committer after a period of contributions to
the project.  So how do you get started with contributions if you
cannot check in files?  You start by submitting patches.  This allows
other committers to review your changes and then check them in.

  2) OpenOffice.org 3.3 translation needs to move to Pootle (I too have

  3) Translation update to 3.4 level

You are starting in the same condition as many of our most valued

other project members see your great work, you are proposed and voted
 in as a committer.

you mean the Finnish page? It will be probably a good idea to simply
translate the English portal page and sub pages and move local community
specific things into the wiki

2) OpenOffice.org 3.3 translation needs to move to Pootle (I too have
all .po-files in my hard disk if that matter)

as soon as we have it up and running you are welcome to upload these files.
