REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NUSA DUA - Pemerintah Amerika Serikat akan memberikan bantuan
hibah kepada Indonesia berupa pesawat tempur jenis F-16 sebanyak 24 unit.
Pemerintah Amerika Serikat akan memberikan bantuan pesawat tempur dalam upaya
meningkatkan peralatan militer pemerintah Indonesia, kata Duta Besar AS untuk
Indonesia, Scot Marciel di Nusa Dua, Bali, Kamis (8/12).
.
Di sela-sela pertemuan Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) IV, ia mengatakan, pihaknya
telah menyediakan pesawat tempur F-16 tersebut untuk negara-negara yang
memerlukan. Namun kali ini memang diperuntukkan untuk Indonesia.

Kesepakatan pemerintah kami untuk memberikan F-16 dalam bentuk hibah sebanyak
24 unit. Sedangkan bantuan enam unit tambahan lagi bisa diambil suku cadangnya
untuk pemeliharaan pesawat lain, katanya. Ditanya kapan realisasi bantuan
pesawat tempur itu, Scot Marciel mengatakan, pihaknya segera menyerahkan
pesawat tersebut.

Namun hingga saat ini masih harus ada pembicaraan lebih lanjut antara
pemerintah Indonesia dengan kami. Kalau itu sudah selesai maka pesawat tersebut
segera dikirim ke Indonesia, ucapnya. Menyinggung mengenai bantuan hibah oleh
Pemerintah AS dibanding membeli pesawat baru produk lain, kata dia, mungkin
dengan pesawat ini biayanya jauh lebih murah, termasuk juga biaya
pemeliharaannya.

Kami rasa dengan pesawat tempur F-16 tersebut biaya pemeliharaan atau
perawatanya jauh lebih murah ketimbang harus membeli produk baru, katanya.
Untuk negara Indonesia, kata dia, sudah seharusnya memiliki pesawat tempur yang
canggih, karena wilayah ini cukup luas dan strategis.

Maka harus memiliki peralatan tempur yang bagus untuk menjaga dan
mempertahankan bangsa dan negara, kata Scot Marciel.

Church leader calls killings 'ethnic, religious cleansing'

The head of the Christian Association of Nigeria said Saturday that the
shootings of Christians linked to a Islamist sect - which have resulted in 30
deaths around the country since Wednesday - appeared to be ethnic and
religious cleansing.

AFP - The head of Nigeria's Christians said Saturday the killing of dozens of
faithful in attacks blamed on Islamists suggested ethnic and religious
cleansing reminiscent of the start of the 1960s civil war.

Christians would do whatever it takes to defend themselves, Ayo Oritsejafor,
head of the Christian Association of Nigeria, said after a meeting of church
leaders.

More than 30 worshippers have been shot dead in northeast Nigeria since
Wednesday, many while praying in churches, after the expiration of an ultimatum
by an Islamist sect for Christians to leave the country's mainly Muslim north.

Oritsejafor said an emergency meeting of church heads concluded that the
pattern of these killings does suggest to us a systematic ethnic and religious
cleansing.

We are reminded by the occurrences of these killings of the genesis of the
civil war that took place here in Nigeria, he added, reading from a statement
prepared after the meeting in the capital Abuja.

That conflict claimed more than a million lives in the late 1960s.

Nigeria's 160 million people are roughly divided between a mainly Muslim north
and predominantly Christian south, but followers of both faiths have for years
co-existed in the different regions.

The escalating attacks however have raised fears of reprisals.

Oritsejafor said the Christian leaders had resolved to work out means to
defend ourselves against these senseless killings.

We have the legitimate right to defend ourselves and ... we will do whatever
it takes, he added, without elaborating.

The leaders denounced the failure of state governors in the relevant areas to
stop the violence.

We hold them responsible for these heinous killings of people taking place in
their states. We will not take it lightly.

Officials in Adamawa state, the scene of most of Friday's bloodshed, placed the
territory under a 24-hour curfew Saturday and deployed security forces in a bid
to halt the carnage.

More than 30 Christians were gunned down in three separate attacks attributed
to Boko Haram in Adamawa state and neighbouring Gombe state, which were not
covered by the president's state of emergency.

Eleven worshippers were killed Friday evening at a church in Adamawa's state
capital Yola, and around 20 others were shot dead in Mubi town in the same
state.

On Thursday evening, gunmen stormed a church in Gombe city and opened fire as
worshippers prayed, killing six people including the pastor's wife.

President Goodluck Jonathan a week ago placed parts of northeast Nigeria under
emergency rule in a bid to halt escalating violence after 49 people were killed
on Christmas Day, most of them at a Catholic church.

But in fresh attacks over the last few days, the Islamist sect Boko Haram has
targetted more Christians and a regional police headquarters.

In an address to the nation on Saturday night Jonathan said the mindless acts
of violence ... are unfortunate.

Last Sunday, a spokesman claiming to represent Boko Haram ordered Christians to
leave the mainly Muslim north for the predominantly Christian south within
three days.

Since then, Muslim leaders have reported that Muslims based in southern oil
region of the Niger Delta have started leaving the area in apparent fear of
reprisal attacks.

Nigerian Muslims from the north have started moving out of the Niger Delta
back to the north, Sheik Khalid Mohammed, head of JNI, an umbrella body for
Muslims in Nigeria, told AFP.

The claims could not be independently confirmed.

In Potiskum, in Yobe state, northern Nigeria, hundreds of residents fled their
homes Saturday after fierce all-night gun battles between Islamists and
security forces.

Residents said a policeman and a civilian were killed when the gunmen robbed
three banks. People had fled parts of Potiskum for fear of military raids in
the aftermath of the attack, they added.

Boko Haram, which means Western education is forbidden, is a shadowy group
believed to have a number of factions with differing aims, including a
hard-core Islamist wing.

It launched an uprising in 2009 that was put down by a brutal military
operation in which some 800 people were killed.

Since the group re-emerged in 2010, it has been blamed -- and often claimed
responsibility -- for a series of increasingly sophisticated and deadly
attacks, including the August suicide bombing of UN headquarters in Abuja that
killed 25.

Ternyata partisipasi Indonesia dalam parade Rosebowl pada pembuka tahun 2012 
ini telah menghasilkan hadiah Internasional.  Para penonton ter-kagum2 serta 
bersamaan ter-heran2 darimana negara Islam terbesar didunia ini tidak memiliki 
budaya Islamnya melainkan menyuguhkan budaya Hindu Bali yang tidak kalah dari 
negara2 Hindu lainnya seperti India dan Thailand.

Sayangnya, pemerintah RI tidak memberitakan kepada para penonton bahwa tarian 
atau float yang mereka saksikan sudah berulang kali mengalami usaha2 pemusnahan 
dengan bom2 oleh para terorist jihad Islam di Indonesia yang antara lain 
terkenal didunia sebagai bomb Bali.

Selamat saya ucapkan kepada para partisipan semoga hal ini akan lebih 
memperkenalkan bahwa Indonesia bukanlah negara Islam, dan Islamnya pun bukanlah 
Islam Arab tapi Islam Hindu.  Islam di Indonesia tidak perlu shalat 5 waktu, 
juga tidak bershalat 3 waktu, bahkan bebas boleh bershalat atau tidak bershalat 
karena kebebasan beragama di Indonesia dijamin oleh UU negara Pancasila yang 
melarang Syariah Islam.

Corruption eradication may be at the top of the president’s agenda, but a new 
survey out on Sunday found public trust in the government’s efforts to 
eradicate graft had reached a new low. 

Of the 1,220 people questioned by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) last 
month, only 44 percent said they were satisfied with corruption eradication 
efforts under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s administration. 

“In previous years, the public’s perception of the government’s performance [on 
corruption eradication] was always above 50 percent,” said Dodi Ambardi, the 
executive director of LSI. 

In 2008, public satisfaction with corruption eradication efforts stood at 77 
percent. 

But this quickly slid to 59 percent the next year, when the Rp 6.7 trillion 
($737 million) Bank Century bailout scandal erupted, and to 52 percent the year 
after, when a House of Representatives inquiry into the bailout appeared to be 
superficial. 

“If we take the number who aren’t satisfied from those who are, this year [the 
government] got its first minus,” LSI researcher Burhanuddin Muhtadi said. 

However, the survey also revealed that the decline in public confidence in 
graft eradication efforts also meant a decline in trust in the Corruption 
Eradication Commission (KPK), which is often referred to as the only law 
enforcement institution the public can trust. 

Only about 38.5 percent of the respondents believed that the KPK was 
corruption-free. 

The National Police was more trusted than the KPK, with the backing of 39.3 
percent of the respondents. 

More surprising is that more than half the respondents (57 percent) believed 
that the National Army (TNI) was “clean.” The president came in second, trusted 
by 51 percent of the respondents. 

A survey in October by another institution, the Indonesian Voice Network (JSI), 
also revealed that the KPK’s popularity was dwindling unlike the police’s. 

LSI blamed the many unresolved corruption cases for the KPK’s bad public image. 

“The main cause was that [the government] was not able to solve corruption 
scandals such as Century, [Muhammad] Nazaruddin, and the bribery in the 
selection of the deputy governor for Bank Indonesia in 2004,” Dodi said. 

In addition to that, he added, the fact that several KPK leaders were suspected 
of involvement in Nazaruddin’s case worsened the commission’s reputation. 

“Lack of coverage in the media on corruption in the military is also to blame,” 
Dodi said. “The media is the supplier of information, but no news on corruption 
doesn’t mean it’s not there.” 

Even so, he added, the public’s trust in the KPK’s new leadership, headed by 
Abraham Samad and others selected last month by the House, remains high. 

“Around 65 percent of the respondents who followed the selection of the new 
chairmen believed that the new KPK lineup would do better than the previous 
one,” Dodi said. 

In response to this finding, KPK deputy chairman Bambang Widjojanto said that 
under the new leadership, the KPK should be able to develop renewed efforts to 
eradicate corruption through not only the prosecution of corruption cases, but 
also prevention. 

“The KPK, in the future, should begin to put its perception of corruption in a 
wider context, so that it not only focuses on enforcement but also long-term 
prevention,” Bambang said.

ISNA on Saturday broadcast coverage of the response of Ayatollah Lotfollah
Safi-Golpaygani, a senior cleric, to the question about Facebook and Iranian
membership in the social networking service.

“Basically, going to any Web site which propagates immoralities and could
weaken the religious belief is un-Islamic and not allowed, and membership in it
is therefore haram [a sin],” the ayatollah replied.

“Only the use of Web sites propagating religious criteria and not leading to
any kind of ethical immoralities is of no problem,” he added.

According to official figures released last October, 17 million Iranians have a
Facebook account, despite heavy restrictions and filtering imposed by the
government.

Due to the popularity of Facebook with younger generations, observers believe
that the number of real Iranian Facebook users could be much higher than 17
million.

Iran has a population of 70 million, of which than 60 per cent is under the age
of 30.

More than 5 million Web sites are reportedly blocked in Iran, but Iranians use
proxy software and virtual private networks (VPN) to access them.

Iranian officials have, for over three decades, been waging what they call a
“battle against the invasion of Western culture.” This has led to blockades of
“immoral” internet sites and banned Western music and movies. However, pirated
versions of those are easily available on the black market.

The country recently established a cyberpolice unit to better police the
internet and even plans to introduce its own national internet, though this has
been postponed several times.

Heggy Kearens was totally determined when she posted a status update on her
Facebook wall questioning the motivations of some of her more pious friends.

They had recently joined a multi-level marketing scheme to sell a popular
Swedish cosmetics brand distributed here. According to Heggy, two issues
bothered her: First, there is the fact that the brand has no halal label on its
products; second, she believes the whole concept of multi-level marketing is
still a “grey zone” in terms of Islam because it allows one to profit from the
labor of others.

So, the 25-year-old graduate student steamed ahead with her Facebook campaign.
She wrote on her status message: “I am questioning the halal status of [the
brand]. I know many of my friends are selling these products but according to
twitter account @halalcorner, these products are not halal. My dear friends,
please be careful, for the halal status, we can check them through
halalmui.org.”

After that, she was barraged with comments from her friends, some of whom
supported her concerns, while others disagreed. Some of the blowback came in
the form of what she called “unpleasant” e-mails. She said she also got a few
kicks on her twitter account.

“I intentionally posted that status because I know for a fact that many of my
friends who were extremely devoted to Islam during college are now selling
these products, which is an irony, because those products have no halal label.”
It’s just too easy to swing away from being pious just for economic reasons,
she said.

“We are talking about people who used to refuse to eat in a restaurant without
a halal certificate,” Heggy said, adding that as a Muslim herself, she cares
about using halal products, although she does not take the issue to extremes.

Is it Halal?

The halal label, of course, is used worldwide, but mostly in Muslim countries
to ensure that the food and drink — and even cosmetics —that consumers are
buying was made in accordance with Islamic law. In Indonesia, the label is
meant to show that the product has been certified by the Indonesia Ulema
Council’s (MUI) food and drug monitoring body to contain no traces of pork or
alcohol.

The designation is also supposed to certify that animals used for food are
slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law — with the animal dying immediately,
the blood being drained away and the process dedicated to Allah. In the case of
cosmetics, they should use plant extracts and minerals instead of alcohol and
animal products, a particular concern since many cosmetics use rendered animal
fats and swine placenta.

For some Indonesian Muslims, the voluntary halal label is the determining
factor in their decision about whether to eat at a certain restaurant or buy
particular products. For some international companies working in Indonesia,
having the label is also crucial for selling their products because almost 90
percent of the population is Muslim, making it the world’s most populous Muslim
country.

One of them, is Bilma Yulita, a mother of two daughters who lives in Jakarta.
Bilma is a devout Muslim who believes that the halal label is an absolute
necessity she must take into consideration before deciding to use a product,
whether it be food or cosmetics.

“The halal label is my first sensor in choosing any product, and I teach my
children to do the same,” she said, adding that her oldest daughter — who is
now 8 years old — seems to have absorbed the lesson early because she is aware
of the label and also refuses to consume products without the halal label.

“When she was in kindergarten, someone offered her food without the halal
label, and she told me, ‘Mama I don’t want this.’ I was touched,” Bilma said.

For exactly the same reason, a year ago, Bilma stopped buying the Oriflame
products that she had been using since 2008. “I heard that it had no halal
label and so I stopped buying it,” she said. “I honestly think that MUI should
label everything, so that Muslims can be free from doubt over what they use.

Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs introduced the halal certificate in
1994 and it has granted thousands of certificates since then for various types
of food, beverages, and cosmetics. But MUI officials estimate that less than 15
percent of all products sold in the country have the halal label. The head of
MUI’s Halal Assurance Division, Muslich, said food and beverage companies are
more eager to get certification than cosmetic or drug firms, less than 10
percent of which seek out halal status.

Why Bother?

While some embrace the label as a matter of devotion to Islam, others consider
the whole concept an extra chore and choose to ignore it. “I don’t care about

Iraq's police, completely reformed after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion, on Sunday 
apologized for acts committed during the rule of the dictator Saddam Hussein, 
on the eve of the force's 90th anniversary.
Security forces in the interior ministry apologize for the practices that took 
place during the former regime, the ministry said in a statement.
They were forced to carry out practices that were not their duties.

It went on to say that the fledgling force, which has been rebuilt from the 
ground up in the past eight-plus years, were the sons of the nation, carrying 
out their duties in order to implement the law and justice.
The statement came on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the police's 1922 
founding, two years after Britain created the country under a League of Nations 
mandate, but a decade before it became fully independent.
Despite the apology for past acts, Iraq's security forces -- the police and 
army -- still regularly face criticism from rights groups for heavy-handedness, 
random arrests and abuses.
Interior ministry security forces, made up of city, oil and federal police as 
well as border enforcement officers and the facilities protection service, 
number around 650,000, according to government figures issued in October.

And even with their high staffing levels, multiple reports have assessed that 
they do not inspire public confidence and are unable to secure Iraq's cities 
and towns without help from the army.
There is ... still a level of skepticism and mistrust towards the police in 
terms of law enforcement and human security, a UN report said last year.
And a separate report published in October 2011 from a U.S. watchdog warned 
that senior officials in the interior and defense ministry had said Iraqi 
police forces are currently unable to secure all of Iraq's urban areas without 
assistance from the Iraqi army.

Monday's 90th Police Day commemorations follow the marking of the 91st 
anniversary of the foundation of the Iraqi armed forces on Friday, during which 
mortars targeted the Green Zone while the army staged a parade inside.

The latest events highlighting the Iraqi security forces come amid a spate of 
deadly violence against Shia pilgrims, including a wave of bombings on Thursday 
which killed 70 people.
The violence has dealt a blow to U.S. and Iraqi claims that domestic forces are 
able to maintain internal security, if not defend the country's borders.
U.S. forces dismantled the Iraqi security forces after toppling Saddam Hussein 
in 2003 in a move later panned for having put hundreds of thousands of men with 
military training out of work and creating a potent recruitment pool for 
insurgents.

Sectarian conflict flares in Iraq

Sectarian conflict in Iraq is again a concern as the Shi'ite government seeks 
the arrest of a Sunni vice president whom they tie to an assassination team. 

Implicit in the accusation is the charge that Sunni politicians were complicit 
in a number of bombings over the past two years that have killed hundreds of 
Shi'ites. At present, the conflict is political and judicial, but it may not be 
settled by dialogue and legal rulings. 

Sunni Iraqis want to establish an autonomous region in central Iraq; regional 
Sunni powers, who oppose Iranian-Shi'ite influence, support that goal. Shi'ite 
Iraqis want to keep the Sunnis a weak minority; their Iranian ally seeks to 
punish the Sunni powers conducting clandestine warfare against it. There is 
considerable danger of a return to sectarian warfare and also of regional 
conflict. 

The sectarian situation 
Conflict between Sunnis and Shi'ites has been part of the Mesopotamian region 
ever since the time of the Ottoman Empire, when Sunnis, though a minority, were 
politically dominant. Sunni pre-eminence continued as the British installed the 
Hashemite monarchy after World War I and various politicians and generals, 
including Saddam Hussein, came and went. 

Saddam's ouster in 2003 led to an insurgency aiming to prevent Sunni 
marginalization and Shi'ite dominance. Mollified temporarily by United States 
and Saudi bargaining in the troop surge, the Sunnis later faced systematic 
arrests and exclusions at the behest of the Shi'ite government. 

Over the past two years, a deadly bombing campaign has been directed against 
the Shi'ite population and security forces, killing scores of people every 
month. 

The Sunni resistance differs from the old Sunni insurgency. It has no prominent 
leaders or bold manifestoes; it has moved from dozens of tribal, Ba'athist and 
army movements to a reasonably unified entity of nebulous leadership and 
uncertain size. It generally eschews firefights and ambushes - commonplaces 
during the insurgency - in favor of bombs. Puzzlingly, it only rarely attacked 
US troops, though they were prime targets during the insurgency. 

The new resistance's coherence and discipline suggest considerable indigenous 
political organization and also substantial foreign support - almost certainly 
from Saudi Arabia. Riyadh cautioned Washington angrily that ousting Saddam 
would lead to Shi'ite and Iranian ascendance, and it now seeks to contain or 
even roll back their power. 

The conflict coming to a head in Iraq, then, is not simply a conflict between 
indigenous Sunnis and Shi'ites. Amid concern over Iran's nuclear ambitions and 
Shi'ite restiveness in Sunni-ruled countries, it has become part of the 
geopolitical contest between Saudi Arabia and Iran. 

Prospects for a Sunni insurgency 
Though outnumbered three to one in Iraq, the Sunnis have strengths and 
resources that could make the impending sectarian strife protracted and costly. 
Many of their assets stem from ties to Saudi Arabia, most of which are 
relatively recent. 

The largest of the Sunni tribes is the Dulayim of central and western Iraq, 
whose martial skills and outlooks did not fade over the many decades of change. 
The Dulayim were mainstays of Saddam's army and security forces but retained a 
strong tribal identity that led to a ferocious insurrection against him in 1995 
when some of its generals were mistreated. 

As sheiks lost patronage and revenue from Saddam's state and young men were 
unceremoniously demobilized from the army, Dulayim tribal networks played 
important roles in the anti-US insurgency of 2006-2008, providing recruits and 
leaders and supply links. 

Those networks are nor confined to Iraqi soil. Fellow Dulayim in Syria 
supported the insurgency; fellow Dulayim in Saudi Arabia did the same but later 
were helpful in calming the insurgency during the surge. 

Dulayim men remain skilled in light infantry weapons and tactics, though 
bomb-making is especially useful at present. They can fight in conventional 
formations with Sunni units in the new Iraqi army should these revolt or as 
guerrillas in irregular warfare and insurgency. 

Sunni regions also have a formidable Salafi presence. The Anbar province town 
of Fallujah has long been a center of that austere and militant form of Islam, 
which is an unappreciated reason for its importance in opposing the US 
occupation. 

After the humiliating defeat in the First Gulf War (1991), Salafi thought 
spread through Saddam's army. Soldiers saw the crushing loss as the result of 
personal impiety and looked to Salafism as the path to personal and national 
regeneration. 

When Western powers became occupiers of Iraq, Salafists saw their duty. During 
the peak of the insurgency, when Saudi and other volunteers had arrived in

terkenal didunia sebagai bomb Bali.

Saya menduga ada kekuatan bisnis yang mempengaruhi keputusan pemerintah.

Pelaku industri gula nasional menilai Kementerian Perdagangan tidak transparan 
dalam mengumumkan hasil audit gula rafinasi. Wakil Ketua Umum Kamar Dagang dan 
Industri Natsir Mansyur mengatakan tindakan tersebut mengesankan adanya 
pembiaran atas tindakan ilegal: menjual gula rafinasi untuk industri di pasar 
retail.“Pembiaran itu makin memicu keberanian pengusaha untuk melakukan 
tindakan ilegal,“ujarnya kepada Tempo akhir pekan lalu. 
Selain itu, menurut Natsir, hasil audit tersebut tak menyentuh akar persoalan 
yang sebenarnya. Kementerian Perdagangan hanya menekankan pada metodologi audit.
Kementerian, kata dia, juga tak menyebut secara terperinci siapa saja 
perusahaan yang melanggar ketentuan distribusi gula rafinasi untuk industri. 
Padahal pelaku usaha dan petani tebu berharap pemerintah mengungkap pelaku 
pelanggaran tersebut lengkap dengan besaran penjualan serta ancaman sanksinya. 
“Pengumuman hasil audit tak sampai ke sana. 

Ada apa di balik hal ini,”ujarnya. 

Akhir Desember tahun lalu, Wakil Menteri Perdagangan Bayu Krisnamukhti 
mengungkapkan temuan 1.541 pengecer yang menjual gula rafinasi. Temuan tersebut 
didasarkan hasil audit yang dilakukan bersama PT Sucofindo pada 33 provinsi, 
200 kabupaten, serta 8.619 pengecer di 439 pasar. Selain itu, tim audit 
menemukan 2 dari 8 produsen gula rafinasi yang menjual lebih dari 50 persen 
produknya kepada pengecer. 

Namun Bayu tak mengungkapkan siapa saja pelaku pelanggaran tersebut. Ia hanya 
membeberkan persentase kepatuhan para produsen untuk mendistribusikan produk 
sesuai dengan aturan. Dari skala 100 persen, tingkat kepatuhan tertinggi 97,98 
persen dan terendah 41,06 persen. Dari temuan itu, pemerintah memberi sanksi 
berupa pengurangan jatah impor gula kasar, dari 2,55 juta ton pada 2011 menjadi 
2,15 juta ton tahun ini. “Produsen yang paling patuh semakin sedikit mendapat 
potongan kuota,”ujarnya saat itu. 

Pengamat ekonomi pertanian dari Asosiasi Ekonomi Politik Indonesia, Khudori, 
mengatakan, peredaran gula rafinasi di pasar konsumsi merupakan pelanggaran 
undang-undang dan masuk ranah pidana. Namun selama ini pemerintah ia nilai tak 
tegas dalam menerapkan sanksi tersebut. 

Selain itu, pelanggaran distribusi ini menjadi cermin rendahnya akurasi data 
gula di Tanah Air. Khudori mengatakan, dalam dua kali audit gula, yakni pada 
2007 bersama Sucofindo dan pada 2009 bersama Surveyor Indonesia, ditemukan 
selisih distribusi sebesar 500 ribu ton.
Namun hal ini tak ditindaklanjuti.“Saya menduga ada kekuatan bisnis yang 
mempengaruhi keputusan pemerintah.“ujarnya.

Karena itu, Khudori meminta pemerintah melakukan audit ulang, dan dilakukan 
oleh auditor independen. Hasil audit plus sanksi bagi pelaku pelanggaran harus 
diumumkan secara transparan agar memiliki efek jera.

Direktur Jenderal Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Gunaryo mengatakan audit yang 
dilakukan pemerintah transparan dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Selain itu, 
para pelanggar telah menerima sanksi sesuai dengan ketentuan.
Namun ia menolak memberi perincian informasi. “Yang jelas, sudah kami laporkan 
ke panitia kerja gula Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat,“kata dia.

JAKARTA– Tindakan sigap pasukan TNI Angkatan Udara (AU) yang melakukan 
intersepsi pada pesawat Deputi Perdana Menteri Papua Nugini dinilai sudah 
tepat.

Tindakan itu menunjukkan sikap taktis dalam upaya menjaga kedaulatan Republik 
Indonesia. Anggota Komisi I DPR Tjahjo Kumolo menyatakan, ancaman Papua Nugini 
yang akan mengusir Duta Besar (Dubes) RI jangan sampai membuat pemerintah 
merasa bersalah dan meminta maaf. “Pemerintah jangan kalah gertak. 

Apa pun yang dilakukan TNI AU dalam mengidentifikasi keberadaan pesawat 
tersebut sudah sesuai prosedur. Papua Nugini tidak bisa seenaknya mengancam,” 
kata Tjahjo di Jakarta kemarin. PM Papua Nugini Peter O’Neil mengancam 
mengusir Dubes RI untuk Papua Nugini Andreas Sitepu sebagai reaksi atas 
keberadaan pesawat militer Indonesia di dekat pesawat yang ditumpangi Deputi 
PM Papua Nugini Helden Namah. 

Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR TB Hasanuddin menyatakan, sudah menjadi tugas patroli 
penerbang TNI AU mendeteksi dan mengecek pesawatpesawat yang melintas di 
wilayah dirgantara NKRI. Menurut dia, pesawat Papua Nugini tidak mudah 
dikenali atau dikategorikan ragu-ragu dikenal. Karena itu, patroli TNI AU 
melakukan intersepsi. “Itu merupakan prosedur yang layak di mana pun semua 
negara berdaulat,” tegas Hasanuddin.(rahmat sahid)

 Four explosions rocked central Baghdad around noon, Dahr Jamail, Al 
 Jazeera's correspondent in the Iraqi capital, reported.

 There were ... three roadside bombs across Baghdad, with a total of two 
 dead and 20 wounded, the vast majority of those being Shia pilgrims, he 
 said.

 Rockets were fired against Baghdad's Green Zone, the hub of international 
 presence in the city, as Iraq's military marked its anniversary with a 
 parade on Friday.

 We heard several explosions, and our sources say two of those were within 
 the Green Zone, said Jamail.

 Some of the explosions were rockets and mortar rounds, police said. At least 
 two buildings in northern and central Baghdad were hit, leaving 10 injured.

 Co-ordinated attacks

 The wave of attacks, which comes after the country's bloodiest day of 
 violence in a year, occurred in the prelude to the Shia holy day of Arbaeen, 
 when followers travel to Karbala to mark the end of 40 days of mourning for 
 Imam al-Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.

 On Thursday, co-ordinated attacks targeted Shia Muslims and their 
 communities, leading to an atmosphere of fear that recalls the bloody 
 sectarian war from 2006 to 2007.

 In the morning, a bomb planted on a parked motorcycle, and another two 
 roadside devices, killed at least nine people and wounded 35 others in the 
 impoverished Sadr City district in northeastern Baghdad, sources said.

 There was a group of day labourers gathered, waiting to be hired for work. 
 Someone brought his small motorcycle and parked it nearby, said a police 
 officer at the scene who declined to be named.

 A few minutes later it blew up, killed some people, wounded others and 
 burned some cars.

 Two bomb attacks in Kadhimiyah, another predominantly Shia district in 
 Baghdad's north, killed another 15 people and wounded 31, an interior 
 ministry official said.

 In the afternoon, a suicide bomber struck Shia pilgrims on their way to the 
 holy city of Karbala. The attack, near Nasiriyah about 200km south of 
 Baghdad, killed at least 45 Iraqis, according to police and hospital reports.

 Political leaders fight each other for power, and we pay the price, said 
 Ahmed Khalaf, a labourer near the site of attacks, in reference to the 
 political tension between Sunni and Shia leaders.

 Arrest warrant

 Last month, Nouri al-Maliki, the prime minister, ordered an arrest warrant 
 against his Sunni Vice President Tareq al-Hashimi on charges of terrorism.

 In a subsequent move, Maliki called for a vote of no confidence against 
 Saleh el-Mutlaq, the deputy prime minister and another leading Sunni 
 politician.

 Since the warrant was issued, the Sunni-led Iraqiya political bloc has 
 boycotted parliament.

 Maliki on Wednesday stated that if the boycott continues, those 
 participating would be placed on extended leave and replacements would be 
 found for their positions.

 Further complicating the situation, the hardline Shia bloc, led by anti-US 
 cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, said it would not be a part of any negotiations that 
 include rival political group Asaeb al-Haq.

 Maliki recently stated that there could be no security in Iraq without 
 political stability.

  Hermanto Subaidi mengatakan, selain akan mengganti harta benda yang
  dijarah, pemkab juga berencana membantu pembangunan rumah pimpinan Syiah
  dan rumah dua orang pengikutnya yang juga dibakar massa, saat kerusuhan
  terjadi pada Kamis (29/12) kemarin.
 
  Hewan ternak milik kelompok Syiah yang mati juga akan kami ganti
  semuanya, terang Hermanto Subaidi.
 
  Ia menjelaskan, kelompok Islam Syiah yang ada di Kabupaten Sampang
  tersebut merupakan warga Sampang dan pemerintah berkewajiban memberikan
  perlindungan hukum terhadap mereka.

Faktanya adalah yg ngebantai orang Ahmadiyah itu cuma orang Islam doang.
Dan jg, pembantaian di Cikeusik itu udah jelas sangat sadis, orang Ahmadiyah 
ditelanjangi, dan sampe mati jg terus digebukin diiringi puji2an thd auloh.
 
Emangnya, apa msh ada yg lebih sadis dr orang Islam?

  Four explosions rocked central Baghdad around noon, Dahr Jamail, Al 
  Jazeera's correspondent in the Iraqi capital, reported.
  
  There were ... three roadside bombs across Baghdad, with a total of two 
  dead and 20 wounded, the vast majority of those being Shia pilgrims, he 
  said.
  
  Rockets were fired against Baghdad's Green Zone, the hub of international 
  presence in the city, as Iraq's military marked its anniversary with a 
  parade on Friday.
  
  We heard several explosions, and our sources say two of those were within 
  the Green Zone, said Jamail.
  
  Some of the explosions were rockets and mortar rounds, police said. At 
  least two buildings in northern and central Baghdad were hit, leaving 10 
  injured.
  
  Co-ordinated attacks
  
  The wave of attacks, which comes after the country's bloodiest day of 
  violence in a year, occurred in the prelude to the Shia holy day of 
  Arbaeen, when followers travel to Karbala to mark the end of 40 days of 
  mourning for Imam al-Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.
  
  On Thursday, co-ordinated attacks targeted Shia Muslims and their 
  communities, leading to an atmosphere of fear that recalls the bloody 
  sectarian war from 2006 to 2007.
  
  In the morning, a bomb planted on a parked motorcycle, and another two 
  roadside devices, killed at least nine people and wounded 35 others in the 
  impoverished Sadr City district in northeastern Baghdad, sources said.
  
  There was a group of day labourers gathered, waiting to be hired for 
  work. Someone brought his small motorcycle and parked it nearby, said a 
  police officer at the scene who declined to be named.
  
  A few minutes later it blew up, killed some people, wounded others and 
  burned some cars.
  
  Two bomb attacks in Kadhimiyah, another predominantly Shia district in 
  Baghdad's north, killed another 15 people and wounded 31, an interior 
  ministry official said.
  
  In the afternoon, a suicide bomber struck Shia pilgrims on their way to 
  the holy city of Karbala. The attack, near Nasiriyah about 200km south of 
  Baghdad, killed at least 45 Iraqis, according to police and hospital 
  reports.
  
  Political leaders fight each other for power, and we pay the price, said 
  Ahmed Khalaf, a labourer near the site of attacks, in reference to the 
  political tension between Sunni and Shia leaders.
  
  Arrest warrant
  
  Last month, Nouri al-Maliki, the prime minister, ordered an arrest warrant 
  against his Sunni Vice President Tareq al-Hashimi on charges of terrorism.
  
  In a subsequent move, Maliki called for a vote of no confidence against 
  Saleh el-Mutlaq, the deputy prime minister and another leading Sunni 
  politician.
  
  Since the warrant was issued, the Sunni-led Iraqiya political bloc has 
  boycotted parliament.
  
  Maliki on Wednesday stated that if the boycott continues, those 
  participating would be placed on extended leave and replacements would 
  be found for their positions.
  
  Further complicating the situation, the hardline Shia bloc, led by anti-US 
  cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, said it would not be a part of any negotiations 
  that include rival political group Asaeb al-Haq.
  
  Maliki recently stated that there could be no security in Iraq without

 JAKARTAâ Tindakan sigap pasukan TNI Angkatan Udara (AU) yang melakukan 
 intersepsi pada pesawat Deputi Perdana Menteri Papua Nugini dinilai sudah 
 tepat.
 
 Tindakan itu menunjukkan sikap taktis dalam upaya menjaga kedaulatan 
 Republik Indonesia. Anggota Komisi I DPR Tjahjo Kumolo menyatakan, ancaman 
 Papua Nugini yang akan mengusir Duta Besar (Dubes) RI jangan sampai membuat 
 pemerintah merasa bersalah dan meminta maaf. âPemerintah jangan kalah 
 gertak. 
 
 Apa pun yang dilakukan TNI AU dalam mengidentifikasi keberadaan pesawat 
 tersebut sudah sesuai prosedur. Papua Nugini tidak bisa seenaknya 
 mengancam,â kata Tjahjo di Jakarta kemarin. PM Papua Nugini Peter OâNeil 
 mengancam mengusir Dubes RI untuk Papua Nugini Andreas Sitepu sebagai reaksi 
 atas keberadaan pesawat militer Indonesia di dekat pesawat yang ditumpangi 
 Deputi PM Papua Nugini Helden Namah. 
 
 Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR TB Hasanuddin menyatakan, sudah menjadi tugas 
 patroli penerbang TNI AU mendeteksi dan mengecek pesawatpesawat yang 
 melintas di wilayah dirgantara NKRI. Menurut dia, pesawat Papua Nugini tidak 
 mudah dikenali atau dikategorikan ragu-ragu dikenal. Karena itu, patroli TNI 
 AU melakukan intersepsi. âItu merupakan prosedur yang layak di mana pun
