 Abstract

   HYPOTHESIS:

Biological synthesis of silver nanoparticles is a cost effective natural
process where the phytochemicals specifically phenols, flavonoids and
terpenoids present in the plant extracts act as capping and reducing
agent. Due to their nano size regime the silver nanoparticles may
directly bind to the DNA of the pathogenic bacterial strains leading to
higher antimicrobial activity.

   EXPERIMENT:

In the current study silver nanoparticles were synthesised using plant
extracts from different origin Cucurbita maxima (petals), Moringa
oleifera (leaves) and Acorus calamus (rhizome). The synthesised
nanoparticles were characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy, dynamic
light scattering (DLS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning
electron microscopy (Fe-SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
(FTIR).

   FINDING:

Highly crystalline, roughly spherical and cuboidal silver nanoparticles
of 30-70nm in size were synthesised. The nanoparticles provided strong
antimicrobial activity against pathogenic strains. The effect of the
synthesised nanoparticles against A431 skin cancer cell line was tested
for their toxicity by
3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) dye.
The IC50 values of 82.39±3.1, 83.57±3.9 and 78.58±2.7μg/ml were
calculated for silver nanoparticles synthesised by C. maxima, M.
oleifera and A. calamus respectively.

DMSO is approved by FDA (whooee) for use with UTI's via catheter.

I have used it orally for such with great results. Dr Morton Walker's
book says, I think, a teaspoon diluted twice/day for 3 days. I only
take one dose, on one day because by then it's gone. Look at his book:
you'll be inspired.

Of course, add CS if you wantl it shouldn't hurt in my experience.

the reason it went to spam...tin-hat...govn't trolls try to trick folks

I don't think I have any direct experience with eye pressure. How do
you know you have it?

Given what I know of EIS, it would surprise me if it will do anything to
change eye pressure. If you're constantly messing with the eye, it
might help keep bacteria/pathogens from creating a secondary problem.

I did some work fo ryou and searched the Silverlistbut I don't have
time to look at them o see if they apply. What I can tell you is that
the eye requires much /many antioxidants.
http://www.mail-archive.com/search?q=glaucomal=silver-list%40eskimo.com

Twice in the last 10 years I have had a busted blood vessel in each
eye (separately) which produced bright red eye. Both times I put drops
of a dilute solution of raw honey/DMSO in the affected eye every 3-4
hours until the pain stopped or until I could see the red become brown
tinged which I took to mean no new blood. note, only one hurt when it
happened; the other was one I awoke in the morning to.

Keep in mind, I never give medical advice;see a medical practicer for
that. I do exercise my 1st amendment right to practice my religion per

If the mites in the eyebrows are from the bedding, please put your
bedding in a very hot dryer with a clean tennis shoe or balls or
something to beat them inside the dryer. This works well for ordinary
dust mites.

Burrowing mites, like bird mites, or the kind dogs get, require more
drastic treatmentbut why are they on your eyebrows.

As Nenah said, make your silverwater only with distilled. I've never
heard of a real person (some un-substantiated hype in un-real persons)
hurting the eye using EIS in it much less to wipe the face with.

BTW, one drop of clove oil in 2 oz of carrier oil (coconut, olive,
avocado, palm, etc) will do wonders for no-see-ums on the skin. Clears
my SIL's acne and her DH's jock itch.

Hello all,

I don’t write here often, but often read and appreciate the

Based on input here, we ended up getting a Pure Water Mini Classic CT
distiller and SG7 and are very happy with them. There are certainly
more affordable ways to get the job done, but if it fits in the
budget (and space…) these are nice to work with and make it
relatively easy to make gallons of consistent CS/EIS (I understand
the SG7 makes mostly EIS and some CS).

We’ve been hesitant to drink much of the CS/EIS as we don’t want to
interfere with gut flora. And we also understand the stomach is not
an efficient route to get it into other areas of the body (unless you
haven’t been eating so long that your stomach is no longer producing
hydrochloric acid). So we’ve been swishing it in our mouths for
minute(s) and then spitting it out. So far this has seemed to resolve

any sensitivity in teethe/gums fairly quickly (from one several
minute swish to repeated ones over 2-3 days). It also seems to help
some with sore throat symptoms. Also tried spraying a bit into each
ear canal today when soreness headed that way (some kind of flu that
has given us mostly mild symptoms) and it seemed to help quite a bit.

This leads to the nebulizer question. We’d like an efficient way to
get CS/EIS into other areas of the body—not really looking to get it
into the gut. Nebulizing seems like a good way to do this. Questions:

1.How much would you take at once when nebulizing? For instance, is
the 7 mL capacity of this vibrating mesh nebulizer
http://justnebulizers.com/respiratory-blog/what-is-vibrating-mesh-technology/
(which can nebulize everything you put into it with none left over)
sufficient?

2.Any reason—other than price—why one would NOT want that model
nebulizer?

3.Any other nebulizer you’d recommend that would be similarly
compact, convenient, and fast (this one is supposed to be quite
fast/efficient for shorter dose times) for use both at home and while
travelling?

Other cautions, advice, and recommendations are all welcome.

Best regards,
Walter

Subject: CSOT - Cure for Dry skin; Especially Feet

I've found the perfect product for my feet which were dry, cracked,
calloused; and to ensure it was not just me I had a friend (she only had a
partial foot) whose feet were worse then mine; they are now baby smooth.

What we did was using the egg scraper (it is an item shaped like an egg) and
you scrape off the dead skin... it will still work if you don't get all..

In the evening scape the feet (better if your cleaned them good first; and
are dry).. then all you do is get a your tube (having already procured it).
The best part is you can this from your local Avon distributor and ask for a
*4.2 fl oz tube of moisture therapy; intensive healing repair.*The next
best thing is the price; I've only spent $1.49 per tube; after finding this
to be the most impressive product; I now order 20 or 30 at a time... I give
them out to people who I run into with similar problems.

The first thing in the morning I apply the treatment to my feet and before
bed I apply another treatment. No need to wrap or continually applying...
this treatment gives results almost immediately!

After seeing the results I began applying on my butt which has had a rash
for years.. it worked! Now I'm also treating my elbows. And just this week
I began apply (after washing) my neck and face.. it feels good, just a
little early for more results to be noticed.

Find your local Avon Rep and order yours and witness the results for
yourself.. what have you to lose but your dry skin and a $1.50.

If you need info on an Avon Rep you can probably google it; or I can send
you information on my Rep. Try not to order where you'll have shipping
charges.

It works.. try it! Then let me know your story.

connie

Re: CSCS and DMSO more quesstions

2012-12-08 Thread RoseOttoGroups

The schtick about DMSO carrying everything thru' the skin into the
bloodstream is a good one for folks who don't know any better.

Fact is, DMSO does not transport anything over 1000 dalton molecular
weight. Look up an MSDS on whatever it is you fear will go to your
brain (if it's in the blood, it can go to the brain) . The MSDS will
tell you the molecular weight of the particular substance with which you
are concerned.

There are components of substances--say an essential oil---that DMSO can
transport but most of the time you won't know which component(s) unless
you have the ability to do some sophisticated chemical analyses.

The fearless rule of thumb I use is...DMSO has been used for many years
on very expensive horses. Not one trainer or horse has been harmed by it
or you'd have seen Congress ban it altogether in the '60s. When you
consider that a horse groomer will apply the DMSO with hands, you can
make a fairly good judgement that anything on the hair of the horse, if
small enough, will be transported into the groomer.

IF you absolutely must have the BEST DMSO, go to the source at
http://www.jacoblab.com/ ; don't mess around with dmso.biz That being
said, there's nothing wrong with dmso.biz that I know of. I just won't
pay for a product I can make and be certain of the ingredients. If you
explore patents and dmso you will find that both Dr. Jacob and Dr
Hershler understood that honey as well as urea and several other
ingredients mitigate odor. You will see the dusa brand on jacoblab.com
which is low odor.

To use dmso effectively you should get and read Morton Walker's book on
DMSI and see what you can find on dmso.org--Dr Jacob's info page. For
example, there are a variety of strengths of DMSO that work best for a
variety of situations. Those two sources are the best info.

*Examples: *

Aspirin is commonly used in lotions for arthritis so the topical
application is an accepted route.
Molecular weight is well under the max [1000 daltons] for DMSO to carry
in at 180 daltons.

For MW I Googled MSDS +aspirin +molecular weight

For MW of any substance Google substance + msds +molecular weight
Glutathione
Molecular Weight: 307.33

Hi Nenah,

I still have plenty of Nigari.but every now and then feel like I
need to worry about sourcing it for when I run out.

Do you think it's safe to use post Fukushima nigari?

I make my own magnesium oil and save lots of money.

WHAT IS MAGNESIUM OIL?

Magnesium “oil” is actually one form of magnesium—magnesium
chloride—in water. The texture is oily, but technically it’s not an
oil as we commonly use the term. The magnesium is commonly in flake
form, and is then added to water until it dissolves. You may be
familiar with magnesium chloride by its other name: Nigari. Nigari
(used to make tofu, which I wouldn’t recommend eating becausesoy is
loaded with phytoestrogens) can be either magnesium chloride or
calcium chloride; but for making magnesium “oil” we’re obviously
interested in magnesium chloride.

WHERE TO GET IT

The cheapest way to get magnesium oil is to make it yourself. The best
buy I have seen for Japanese nigari (not Chinese nigari—don’t buy it
from China) is 5 pounds for $8.49 at:

http://www.naturalimport.com/shop_for_nigari?b=1

When you include shipping in many instances, it comes to about $20 for
5 pounds of nigari flakes. This is still a great deal.

HOW TO MAKE IT

This recipe is quite forgiving. Basically, I add water to my magnesium
chloride (nigari) flakes until the stuff dissolves. It often comes out
to about equal parts of each. Put the flakes into a glass masonjar
with a plastic lid, and gradually add water and shake the jar until
the mixture dissolves. If it doesn’t dissolve completely, add more
water. The best water to use is distilled. If you don’t have
distilled, use clean filtered water.

BENEFITS

Magnesium chloride works well taken transdermally (through the skin).Since you
avoid the digestive tract, you eliminate the problem of diarrhea while getting
much larger amounts of magnesium into your system than usual. Since most people
are magnesium deficient, this works well. It’s difficult to overdose on
magnesium, although this can happen. As with any nutrient, monitor yourself and
see how you feel.

DISADVANTAGES

The only disadvantage of magnesium “oil” is the possibility of itching when you
rub it into your skin. If this happens, simply put plain, clean water on the
skin. This will dilute the magnesium preparation and relieve the itching.

OTHER FORMS OF MAGNESIUM
Magnesium chloride does not work well if you take it orally. For oral use, you could
try magnesium citrate, available atwww.msm-msm.com http://www.msm-msm.com.
Epsom salts, another magnesium compound, can be dissolved into a hot bath. However,
with Epsom salts you don’t get as much magnesium into the body as when you use
magnesium chloride.

Best,

Re: CSFor Saralou --Borax

2012-11-10 Thread RoseOttoGroups

Melly,

Since I don't like smoothies and seem not to get around to juicing as
often as I'd like, I put it in coffee. I can't taste the borax at
all--even when I've put more than 1/8 tsp in the brew. In order to cut
back on coffee(makes my fingers ache) many years ago, I started putting
some of my therapeutics in a large cup every morning. Some days I have
2 of my mugs = 30 oz or so, about 5 teacups. I enjoy it far more than
tea. If I choose to fast from coffee for a few weeks, I substitute hot
water or hot lemon water for the coffee and continue with my additives
in my 2nd morning drink. (first is 15 oz. ozonated water).

My Coffee: 15 oz french pressed grounds, 2 Tbls Coconut oil 1 Tbls
Cocoa (NOT dutched or alkali processed), 1/4 tsp each Cinnamon,
Cardamom, Allspice, Ginger, 1/8 tsp each Cayenne, turmeric. If it's in
the kitchen at the time I add a tablespoon or so of DE. half and half..
2nd Cup is similar only I reuse my grounds and augment with a dash of
instant coffee and substitute a T of hemp oil instead ofthe coconut.

Re: CSanxiety and stress

2012-11-09 Thread RoseOttoGroups

Breathe a lot, Alan.

Breathe in thru' your nose to a count of 5
Exhale thru' your mouth to a count of 10

Use any numbers you want and increase them as your capacity increases.
Just make sure you exhale much longer than you inhale. Do this until you
want to pant and quit. There are many formulae for breathing down to
the stomach or breathing shallowly thru the top of the lungsee what
suits you.

Magnesium relaxes. Iodine helps folks with emotional stuff. Vitamin C
and B complex are used up quickly during times as stress; increase your
intake.

Sing romatic songs from your youth. Do NOT sing the blues and do not
sing downer country songs. IF you use affirmations, speak them, don't
just think them. Your subconscious needs to hear it.

If you're not accustomed to exercising; start. Rebound to music that
uplifts or walk where you can see beauty. Oddly, I've found the
canopied sidewalk of the nearest strip mall works for me--it's
comparatively safe and closer to home than any park. Mostly I stick to
the rebounder.

I find prayer and meditation on the Psalms serves me very well as long
as I don't get stuck in the destroy my enemies segments.

Breathe. Smile. Smile realy big so it's easier for your face to
relax back into a smile than something else. And of course, deal with
the trauma.

Re: CSStoring water

2012-11-06 Thread RoseOttoGroups

Hello Kirsteen,

IF disaster strikes, even your old bottled tap water for the toilet will
be better than any new tap water that could be available.

I bought an Aquarain several years ago http://www.aquarain.com/ It's
made in the USA (or at least enough is to claim that). There are a few
slight differences between the Aquarain and the Berkey but they do not
have to be significant. As nearly as I can tell, price ,no way to hook
up a fluoride filter, and the size of the stem that goes from the filter
into the clean tank.

The Berkey fluoride filter works for 6000 gallons and may be worth the
money. It may also be adapted to the AquaRain; after I saw the price I
didn't look at it. I put some Borax in the to-be-filtered water and
take some in my coffee daily to counter Fl.

The size of the stem IS important but not a purchase problem because if
you want to use a Black Berkey (the best from what I've read) ceramic
filter you just take it to the hardware store and buy 4 wing nuts that
fit the stem.

If I were doing it again, I wouldn't even buy the Aqua Rain. It is less
than the Berkey but money is tight. Since my research (14 yrs agi) there
are marvelous youtubes and other sites showing you have to piece
together materials to make a water filter like either the Berkey or the
Aqua Rain at considerably less expense. Once you know what the
significant parts are and how they work, your imagination's the limit.
Spend money on the best filter you can buy. If you're in a hurry, make
that filters. The more ceramic cones you use in a filter, the faster
the water flows.

IF you know that your water needs purified (river, roof, mud puddle
water) and are concerned about the viability of the filter, add a slosh
of iodine or bleach or peroxide to the filtration chamber. It'll kill
anything going thru the filter. If I put food coloring in the top, the
water in the bottom comes thru' clear--kinda cool. You want a filter
that will remove microorganisms.

I found one site that had a neat-looking comparison of all the ceramic
filter units but the data did not fit my experience so I chalked it up
to sales fluff.

There have however been several times when the water supply has been
disrupted, often without any notice. The main water supply pipes have
been around since Victorian times and do have a habit of bursting in
the winter.

We're in a small 4th floor flat. We usually have a supply of bottled
water on hand, as it's all my son drinks (not that i agree with that)
and we store quite a few of the used containers filled with tap water
around the toilet, so that we have a supply to flush it.

I was just wondering in an emergency, if we were out of bottled water,
how to make sure that stored tap water was safe to drink? I always
thought adding CS was a good idea?

If I was to use hydrogen peroxide 35% or 3%, any idea how much I would
add to a quart/litre? I haven't managed to find any info on this as
every site I've come across recommends adding iodine, whiich i suppose
is another option.

3) Make a fresh paste for each application using castor oil and baking

4) Apply this paste over the mole 3 times daily and cover with a

Not sure about moles but for skin tags it's worth trying colloidal

colloidal silver and after a few days it just dropped off. Also
tried the duct tape method (actually suggested by my doctor), on a

oxygen method that knocks a verouca on the head, so this might be
effective on skin tags and moles also.. As for skin tags, CS
