globally changed (for all application). I try to change options, reboot, but no
any change in behaviour.
Configured IM is xim (due to pgAdmin3 bug). But IBus has same problem.

[Bug 810602] [NEW] kernel always reports lid state as closed

2011-07-14 Thread BSA
Public bug reported:

Problem related to Gygabyte N601 laptop.
content of /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state is always
state: closed

This state is not depended on real lid state. When I close lid LCD
backlight switches off (this is hardware feature as I understand - does
not depend from OS). So electrically button is OK.

This is regression - Karmic or Jaunty (I cannot remember) has not this
problem.

[Bug 356089] Re: Error in Russian translation in Hardy

2010-06-14 Thread BSA
In Ubuntu 10.04 problem fixed by untranslation of output (for help
translation keeped). Current state of ifconfig translation is fully
acceptable for me.

AsstZD, as you know ВВЕРХ is a verbatim translation of UP (in Russian
meaning of this word is direction only). Standard jargonsm is ПОДНЯТ.
Official translations can be АКТИВЕН.
Do you really think, that this SYSTEM tool should be translated? Then, please
translate Bcast, MTU, RX, TX, encap. Or you want translate only part
of output? This tool is used in scripts. Not all scripts sets LC_ALL variable
to guarantee output language. What you think about it? (I do not want answers
for these questions - you should think about them only).

[Bug 356089] Re: Error in Russian translation in Hardy

2009-09-17 Thread BSA
I can confirm it. Already present in Ubuntu 9.04.
This translation is fully invalid - in Russian UP at this context should be
ПОДНЯТ or АКТИВЕН.
Moreover, I think (and not only I) that is bad idea to translate output of this
tool...

This problem is related to language-pack-ru-base.

[Bug 119676] Re: libmotif3 fonts

2009-07-02 Thread BSA
I can confirm this. Russian fonts looks like T h i s i s C y r i l l i c t
e x t. But when I run in C locale (LANG=C git gui) all looks fine.
I check this on Crossover Office Setup and git gui.

[Bug 246952] Re: Missing Force feedback support in kernel (CONFIG_HID_FF)

2009-05-07 Thread BSA
sergio
Current kernel driver for your wheel does not support autocentering
manipulation. So you cannot see any effect from constant force (but if you run
ffcstress, it is possible wheel changes centering force for one of sides). If
you know how to recompile hid-logitech kernel module, then you can modify
sources by hand (drivers/hid/hid-lgff.c): replacing line { 0x046d, 0xc294,
ff_joystick }, by { 0x046d, 0xc294, ff_wheel },, then you need to recompile
module hid-logitech.ko, unload old module and load new.
Kernel developers already apply my patch for this wheel, so next stable kernel
(2.6.30, I think) will be has autocenetring for your wheel. Current kernel
driver only supports autocenetring for Logitech MOMO Racing wheel.

[Bug 246952] Re: Missing Force feedback support in kernel (CONFIG_HID_FF)

2009-05-04 Thread BSA
sergio, all looks fine.

This output:

Device /dev/input/event7 opened
Axes query:
Effects: Constant
Number of simultaneous effects: 16
Upload effects[0]: Invalid argument
Upload effects[2]: Invalid argument
Upload effects[3]: Invalid argument
Upload effects[4]: Invalid argument
Upload effects[5]: Invalid argument

Means that you have only constant effect, so you need test option number 1
only. But you try 2 and 3 which are not supported. Also you can run ffcfstress
program which should change feedback on your wheel periodically.
Current kernel has no support for autocentering configuration for your wheel
(and G25, which has same ID in legacy mode). In future versions it may be
added. I send patch to kernel dev team soon.

Intrepid is out, but CONFIG_HID_FF is not enabled, so kernel has not force
feedback support.
Please enable it.

[Bug 291426] [NEW] libcegui-mk2-dev have incomplete list of dependencies

2008-10-31 Thread BSA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libcegui-mk2-dev

I try to compile program using libcegui. And they cause error because no
-lpcre and -lfreeimage found. I think that is good idea add libpcre3-dev
and libfreeimage-dev to dependencies list of libcegui-mk2-dev
