First of all we should think about the movie theme and then only we can expect
the songs for the film. Even though its not od Epic or Historic film, its base
line is something related to the epic Ramayan and that too the title itself
says its about the demon king Ravans side of story.

In my opinion, there are two kind of ARR albums, ones which can be enjoyed
irrespective of the movie (standalone) and others which are very strongly
linked to the theme of a movie. ARR-Mani combo is always the later. And to
add to it, the music has a earthy, edgy stuff and emotions are a
I agree with Prakash..these songs would gel with the storyline and would be a
treat to watch with mani's visuals but on the contrary the songs are not as
catchy and will not reach the "mass". As Rahman Sir's fan we enjoy every bit of
the song and we enjoy the song in detail(Personally i love all
Ranjah Ranjah Hoii..gonna be a mega hit!
