I think the following will fix your problem...
Go to control panel
Next, go to folder options
Then go to view tab
Tab to "files and folders"
right arrow to open tree view
arrow down to "use check boxes to select items" - select off
Tab to okay and hit enter
That will get rid of those checkboxes

I think I was paying about $ 8 plus about $ 10 for the web site name. It was
