If anybody ever wonders down the isle where the furnace filters are located
especially if they have never gone there before it can be a bit overwhelming to
be sure. There is an extremely extensive selection of shapes sizes and types of
filters to choose from. I get the 90 day variety that are
That is not the problem. The problem with that is gas is a combustion
engine and diesel is a compression engine.
The gas engine compresses the fuel and then lites it with a spark.
The diesel engine just lites it by compressing the fuel mix until it
explodes, no spark. Even with glow plugs.
Man, those old Reos.

Alright, since none of you wimpy bastards would step up to the plate and
take on the coveted job of guest coordinator for the shows we are forced to go
to plan b. Although, before I give up let me point out all the benefits
bestowed upon one by accepting such a challenge.

With a Central air unit. You cool all airiers not just one. I got a
apartment with a window/wall mount in the wall. It cools only half
the apartment. My back bedroom stays warm no matter what I do. Even
using a second fan to push the cool air down the hall doesn't do a
thing. Glad all rooms
Than why are you grinning?

If you have a ceiling exhaust fan and about 3/4 inch gap at the bottom of
the bathroom, shut the door and turn on the exhaust fan. It will draw the
hot out and draw the cool air through the house. Not as good as a attic fan
but does work.

Just coming into this thread. I would be more concerned about moisture using
one of these diverters than anything else. I.E. in the winter, if the dryer is
in the basement and the furnace is also in the basement I would use it, but in
the summer, (like now) I would not use it. I know, I

When a window air conditioner cools poorly, it doesn't necessarily mean you're
in for an expensive trip to the repair shop. It could be the machine just
needs a good cleaning and some tender care.

The next time someone turns on the hair dryer, microwave and toaster oven all
at once and sends your house's circuits into a tizzy, be prepared. If you
live in an older home with electrical circuits protected by fuses, keep
replacements on hand.

Well, what I had in mind was a small (whatever size is deemed appropriate)
for each area.
Your bedroom should have its own unit and then you could just cool that area
at night.
We live in a 16x90 mobile home and when the youngsters move out (if that
ever happens) we sure do not need to cool or

That is one of the advantages of living out in the country. We have these
things called clothes lines they work well. A bit more work and they don't
work worth a hoot in the rain.
But it is worth the energy savings.

Hi
You can make an inexpensive anti-fog glass spray to keep your bathroom mirrors
and the inside of your car's windshield fog-free. This solution keeps
condensation
from collecting on these surfaces.
Steps:
1.
Pour 2 ounces of white vinegar in a medium sized bowl.
2.
Add 1 quart hot
