The camera is correctly set up and I can access the image directory with

Actually the contrib CD has never been downloadable as an iso, but as
separate packages in a contrib sub-directory in the distribution
directory (there was one in the 8.2 directory) The question is if it
will be available in the 9.0 directory ?

I know this is minor, but the new flightgear 0.8.0 package in contribs
has a display problem : the panel instruments does not contain
instruments ! It seg faults a lot (system with Radeon 7500 mobility)

Please create a usb group corresponding to the group ID 43. It would
help the users of digital cameras, because they need to belong to that
group 43 to have access, as users, to their digital camera.

My SB Live sound card is detected, but wrong modules are loaded at boot.
/etc/modules.conf contained after install :
alias sound-slot-0 snd-cmipci
which is wrong.
Should be :
alias sound-slot-0 snd-emu10k1
Fresh install of beta 3, with a Logitech USB mouse optical + wheel.
That mouse is correctly detected at install, but is not working at boot.
The /dev/usbmouse symbolic link is correctly created at boot, but it has
not target. It points to dev/input/mouse0, but this file is missing. I
run moused
Will the dri drivers for ATI R200 (Radeon 8500 series) be available in
mandrake 9.0 to enable the accelerated 3D ? I know they are still in
heavy development, but it is better than nothing ?

and zip usb when mounted was in scsi1, correctly working (module
usb-storage was correctly loaded when needed). Perhaps a conflict between

mandrake update, and i wanted to go back
to the normal kernel. With rpm -e, the new kernel was removed corrctly, and
the old one was correctly configured, but after that kernel-smp was not
proposed anymore by mandrake update. Is there any database that is not
correctly updated ?

not reproduce the bug today ! It worked perfectly, i do not understand what
the problem was ! sorry...
A remark : if i try to compile a CVS version of freeciv, it does not find
the gtk-configure script (to check t

A problem using XFdrake with XFree86 4 :
After installation of mdk with XFree86 4, display is really faster. Problem
: if i use XFdrake to change color depth or resolution, the XFree 3.3.6
server replaces the version 4.
Using XFdrake --xf4 does not work.
