Finally getting back to some time trying Mandrake on IBM hardware. I
have a 43p 140 and got my own 2.4.10-pre4 kernel running on it. I
rsync'ed the latest ppc cooker from wtfo (yesterday) and used all-2.2.gz
as the ramdisk 'cause the all.gz is a bit too big for a floppy :(. This

Not according to the person I talked to. If you had add-ons, like
printers, they stop by Eire (here in Europe) so be repackaged with

partition for the kernel, a root, and a HFS bootstrap, at minimum so
why not just make one for booting?

so I managed to install Mandrake PPC 8.0. Works fine for me. The installer is
now working pretty well (thanks folks !). It seemed as though I had to set
the bootstrap as "active" ? Never mind.

Theorically a PC133 ram in a PC100 compatible mainboard will run at 100Mhz
without problems. But with some rams and mobo, there are problems. But, if
