Ah, that is the wish. Now I understand the "problem" better.
I don't known what is needed to get it:
* Changing the bootROM
* Changing a parameter in current bootROM
* Changing kernel

In other words: Tell what 'mpris2' is about.
(Yes, upstream stream should explain it also, but that is another story)

Package: systraq
Version: 0.0.20081217-3
Severity: normal
Dear maintainer,
Systraq should ignore files
like /etc/init.d/.depend.boot and /etc/init.d/.depend.start
It are hidden files and they are auto-generated.

Another aproach would be a debconf variable like di/doinstallkernel,
a boolean with default value 'true'.
Making variable di/doinstallkernel _not local_ to base-installer
allows it to reuse at bootloader install time.

Quoting the top of README.Debian from dahdi-linux / dahdi-source
-08-14 07:40 UTC ( 09:40 CEST)) any logs.
Doing `debcheckout dahdi-linux` got me the dahdi source plus debian directory.
But what to do after that?
Please provide a debian/README.source that tells
how to build the dahdi-linux package
