I have experienced the same issue as carlo using 12.10 (x64). Problem in
chromium Version 22.0.1229.94 Ubuntu 12.10 (161065), but in chrome same
version it works fine.

system. If one process requires another as a precondition to run

could we get python3-virtkey updated to 0.62.0 in the Nexus 7 PPA too? This
would allow Onboard to show proper key labels for the number block and fix the
action of the NumLock key.
Raring has it already (0.62.0-0ubuntu1), though I've only now updated Onboard's
version requirements.
Bug #1054495 was reported on 22 Sept 2012 and seems to have been fairly quickly
accepted, diagnosed and fixed for Quantal (12.10).
The same issue affects Precise (12.04) to the same extent.
Precise is an LTS release and it will probably have more users with Quantal so
I am puzzled by the

complains about missing plugins and starts downloading them. After
sucessfull download, the ripping fails. Watching the plugin install, I
think I have seen some text regrading i386, while I use a 64-bit
Why is this constantly being pushed? And being pushed at all, this is a
pretty critical issue that breaks quite a few laptops, I don't even
understand why you would ignore an issue like this and push it instead
of making it a top priority issue...
