Yes, a Squeezebox classic will work. I'm using an old ver. 2
Squeezebox classic. iPeng is an excellent application. I use only one
Squeezebox, but it should be able to handle switching between two
relatively easy.

The Llamapanel iPhone app is what i hope to use as well but I am gutted
about the duet not working. oh well its bought now.
If i bought a squeezebox classic on the cheap would it work? It would
mean having to give over another port on the cav6.6 but as I have 2
free it wouldnt t

Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that you can
share the IP serial port interface between the SqzRuss program and
another program controlling the Russound system with an iPhone. I do
this myself with the Llamapanel iPhone app and the VSPE virtual serial
ports emul

I've had a number of crashes when using Spotify from within iPeng for
iPad. I've not got a reproducible case, but I'll sent back the crash
dumps via the normal mechanism (assuming they are available).
Also, there appears to be some kind of integration bug with Spotify.

You should specify a filename or device with -M.
ie. -M/dev/null or -M/tmp/squeezeslave.log

i can confirm that it works great on the galaxy tab. i see you have

I solved it.
I had the process started with a wrong option "-10" in daemon mode .
squeezeslave somehow kept running that way.
After killing that process I made it working.

Last night I was (trying to use) my Blackberry and used the
server:9000/Handheld interface.
Today from my PC when I go to server:9000 is still shows the handheld
interface!
I know that I can go to server:9000/Default but how do I get the
default to go back to "/Default" ?

After starts there will always be a small delay. But if you scroll,
often (not always) the artwork will be there.
And if it's nit there it will often show up while you scroll.
I clear the memory cache (like you do) when sending the App to the
background to avoid getting it quit too soon for excess
