available and they never missed a beat other than on 2 occasions I had

time you have to build. I run a QNAP for plex and LMS with 90TB of
stuff. The QLMS package runs 8.3 fine.

In my experience, SB rebooting is usually the PSU dying and not able to
deliver sufficient power momentarily when the going gets tough. If you
still have the old SB3, try a different PSU..

Been in the same situation. In all honesty, you are better getting a
Rpi with a USB drive for your music - and plug that into the network at
the 2nd place. Better performance, more reliable, and secure.

Having a sort through storage, I found 2 brand new touch players
(unopened) and a radio. I'd forgotten that I stocked up on players a
few years back to make sure I had a lifetime supply! (I probably need
not have bothered because the players seem to last forever (sill got a
Slimp3 in the garage)

URL's for iheart (an iheart url serves up the list) and manually copied

works ok, occasional re-buffering. But it was chewing up line capacity
when being used, so just created a Raspberry Pi with a 1gb USB disk for

can honestly recommend going back to 7.5.6 (it just works). Bad news
about dropping MIP - first I'd heard. Looks like I'm about to exercise
the fall-back plan and freeze everything on 7.5.5 for the forseeable
future. I never connect to msb.com so not an issu

times. Now it's only finding 5 of the 12 players connected.

Thanks, but I've done that already. Stopped server. Checked MIP is
running and mixing on port 10002. Restarted SBS. No 'm'.
MIP is generating playlists using spicefly web interface.
7.5.5 is sitting there smiling at me.. I'm trying to remember why I
ever installed 7.6

twiddly to get all the network stuff set up correctly but overall
the best 200 squids I have spent in ages. So good, I consider to get
another for the kids TV room. Firmware updates add new function etc.,
so a degree of future proofing as well.
