I have to agree with Michael Wagner ... looking very similar to an
Audiotron. I have one as well.
They are not made any more - which is what pushed me to buy an SB2 when
I wanted to get music in more rooms.

stack. It was plastic, the buttons felt cheap, and the display was
tiny. It was also too thin (about 1U, which is much thinner than most

Sorry, should have been more specific. The fascia was plastic (matt
finish IIRC), the case was indeed metal.
They were rubber chicklet buttons. Not the nicest, true. But they worked

If we're really trying to come up with the Ideal Squeezebox, shouldn't
it have a bigger display?
The only advantage the Roku device has over our beloved Squeezebox, is
the larger display of the Roku M2000.

What about putting the buttons on the top? This would only work if
the sb is the top piece of equipment but it would give it a cleaner
front.
