That should be OpenLDAP < 2.0.8 (or < 1.2.12 for the historic series), so,
2.0.8 and higher are fixed.

In snd's source tarball, there's a README.snd that has the following

All,
Does anyone have any info on when we may see support for the 3Com AirConnect

I think maybe this may be off-topic, but I'm looking for suggestions. I'm

Do you want w2k & lm80 both to be able to read & write the same
partition?
Dear friends:
I am installing Win2000 as part of my dual-boot with LM 8.0. I use the Reiser FS
exclusively in LM 8.0 (except, of course, for the swap file).
Win2000 asks whether I want the NTFS file system or VFAT? I am just a newbie. Which
one, please?

I have a freshly installed Mandrake 8.0 system. My hardware is dual
Celeron processors with a BP6 motherboard and 128MB memory.
I have not touched the apache configuration files since the install.

Hi,
I have installed LM8 at a couple of days and it's ok,
except that it doesn't "speaks".
I've checked isapnp.conf and it's ok (I saw their configuration
in windows -> Address, IRQ, DMA... everything is equal...), but
modprobe -l says that cmpci kernel module was loaded (C-Media
pci sound card).

I am looking for the best firewall configuration software for Mandrake

I use snd. Ecawave is probably good too, but can be a pain to install.

Hello,
My user is complaining that his nfs mount points timeout after sometime
period of time and when he issues a umount he gets rejected.
I find the following errors with the NFS servers /var/log/messages file:

Dear friends:
Just found out today that you CAN run Galeon and Mozilla simultaneously! How?
Well, you can't run them both at the same time IF the Mozilla version is
identical, i.e. if, for example, Galeon uses Mozilla installed at
/usr/lib/mozilla, you can't run Mozilla, that is, the /usr/lib

Hi
I just installed Mandrake 8 on my Computer...
the Setup is as follows:
Asus A7V with Promise ATA100 Controller
Normal IDE Controller
hda == CDROM
Promise ATA 100 Controller
hde == Maxtor 20GB
hdg == Maxtor 20GB
Setup went just fine, Lilo installed

Hi!
Is anyone using LM as a TFTP server? I mean a TFTP server for files, not for
bootp/remote boot.
I've configured a directory and the service, but I can't write (PUT) to that
directory (it has the right permissions). I can read (GET) files from it, but I
need write too, since I have some idea
How do i generate an SMP installation image for LM 8.0 ?
I have a N440BX MB with a Mylex AcceleRaid150 adapter (DAC960PRL). The
DAC960 module does not initialize on a UP kernel on this machine. So I need
to boot a SMP image to do the installation.
Hi,
In LM-Freq2, I can only mount the first CD I choose. If I eject this one
and insert another, I can only get I/O errors when I 'cd' back into
/mnt/cdrom. This a really annoying if I tried to add packages from the
install CDs which require rpms from both disks. The first one works
fine, then pu
Why don't you just try compiling from source.
You can get the 2.4.6 from http://www.kernel.org
I did this yesterday with 2.4.6 because I wanted to make a bridge from
two NICs and it worked OK. Make you chose the right options in make
config or make xconfig. I for one, cannot compile or if compil

I mean a really really good sound editor that edits smoothly.
